Tired after eating all that turkey yesterday? So are we! We are closed today and will reopen on Monday.
We are closed today in observance of #Thanksgiving. We’re thankful for all our Veritas Prep community members and we hope your day is filled with friends, family and good food! What are you thankful for?
Thank you to all the men and women who have bravely served our country in the armed forces. We are closed in observance of #VeteransDay.
We are closed today in observance of #IndigenousPeoplesDay, a holiday dedicated to honoring #indigenous people and their history and culture. We encourage the Veritas Prep community to explore this history, and to focus on the stories and voices of Indigenous people.
On this #LaborDay, we are closed to celebrate the many contributions workers have made to our country. Whether you are taking a day trip, going to a barbeque or just hanging out at home, we hope you have a great day.
Four days after the signing of the #DeclarationOfIndependence in 1776, the people of #Philadelphia heard it read for the first time—and city bells rang throughout the night. We hope you have a similarly festive #FourthOfJuly! We will be closed today in observance of the holiday.
On June 19, 1865, the last enslaved African American people in the south were freed in Galveston, Texas, when Union troops rode into the city to announce the Emancipation Proclamation. We are closed tomorrow in observance of #Juneteenth.
Since the American Revolutionary War, service men and women have selflessly given their lives to protect our country and our freedoms. Today, we are closed in #remembrance of all the members of our armed forces who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country. #MemorialDay
On April 19, 1775, the “shot heard ‘round the world” was fired, starting the first battles of the #AmericanRevolutionaryWar. On this #PatriotsDay, we are closed, and we encourage the community to think about the start of our country and how we can work together to improve it.
We are closed today in observance of #GoodFriday. We hope everyone has a relaxing #Easter weekend!
Veritas Prep is closed in observance of #PresidentsDay, which is actually Washington’s Birthday! Happy birthday, George!
On June 19, 1865, troops arrived in Galveston, TX to inform enslaved African-Americans of the end of the Civil War and of their freedom. Juneteenth at Veritas and the building will be closed. Celebrate Juneteenth in Springfield: springfielddowntown.com/cele…
