Kind words go a long way. Tanis, a lovely vet student who has just finished a placement with us, signed off a thank you card with this quote. Always good to be reminded of this 🤗.

@VetEmCC could you please help the Animal Cancer Trust gather much needed data with their survey? Responses will enable the charity, and in the future vets and vet nurses, better support owners of pets diagnosed with cancer surveymonkey.com/r/act1

Yesterday the oil price fell ++++. At one point, it was negative. I wonder how many people in the #veterinary sector know this. Who cares? Well, whether it is weeks or months from now, we surely all will. Economic times are changing and not for the better.

A classic multidisciplinary emergency patient we treated recently. Grateful to have the opportunity to give Chance some more time with her family.

Two eleven letter words.
Two such different drivers of behaviour and decision-making.
Such a lovely picture 😍 Part of my role is to help create the circumstances where our people have the time to deliver this type of individual patient care which is at the heart of our founding ethos.

Here is our Patient Care Assistant, Abbie, with the lovely Ellie in our Dog Ward. Abbie says that her and Ellie bonded with lots of cuddles throughout her treatment with us. So much so, Ellie fell asleep whilst Abbie was cuddling her post-surgery! ⠀

The value of language:
No animal should be referred to as 'it' & those who have animals in their care don't 'own' them: They're not 'things'.
Each animal is an individual in his/her own right & @TheRalphVetHosp values these important factors: It's The Ralph way

On this Saturday in 2019, we had our launch event. That was some day. We were blown away by the turnout, energy and support. Thank you.

We are equally excited about you joining us @Cookiiedivine. Another step in @TheRalphVetHosp journey as we develop from a startup into a more mature hospital. Thanks for being a part of #teamralph. See you soon. 👍🏾
Back to work tomorrow, no rest for the wicked and all that 🤣 In an exciting twist though, as of February I will be working as the new Senior oncology nurse in @TheRalphVetHosp , I’m so excited to work with such an amazing team there 💙
