VA Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) visits Sylmar w/ access to vaccines, housing referrals, substance use services, medical care for those not near VA facilities. DMH VPAN peers w/ Goodwill-SD3 provided add’l service linkage. MMU rotates Supervisorial Districts on a recurring basis.

There are more than 1.6 million military children who face challenges and unique experiences as a result of their parent's service.
This month is meant to honor and celebrate military children and youth for their service.
VPAN Department offices will be closed on Monday, March 25 in observance of Cesar Chavez Day.

The L.A. COUNTY VETERAN SERVICE AWARDS recognize TAMBRA AXEL of VOALA as our COMMUNITY PARTNER of the MONTH! Tambra has helped many veterans experiencing homelessness find interim housing within the same day and sometimes the same hour, which makes her a sought-after resource.
The L.A. COUNTY VETERAN SERVICE AWARDS recognize LOIDA BLACKLEY of MVA as our SUPPORT SERVICE STAFFER of the MONTH! Loida's can-do attitude and willingness to step in has been a blessing to those around her. A true team player, she’s always willing to help others.
This quarter, DMH VPAN staff took a deep dive into ARMS (Assess, Recover, Mitigate, Strengthen) to help workers create/implement their own professional wellbeing regimen using those four steps. Because if you don’t take care of yourself…you can’t take care of anyone else.
Every quarter, Patriotic Hall hosts an evening networking event for veterans transitioning out of the service and into Los Angeles.
