An American handed me his phone and said, "Find the tree guy." I asked the tree guy's name. He did not know it. He did not need to. The tree guy was saved as Rick Trees. So I scrolled. Under R alone: Ron Gutters. Rosa Cleaning. Ray Well Pump. Randy Deer, who is the man who processes deer, not a deer. And one contact saved as "Russ (DO NOT LEND LADDER)." Nobody told me the story behind Russ. I did not ask. Some files stay sealed. I tried to count the whole phone and lost track somewhere in the D's around "Don Floor & Debris." It was past sixty. On the drive home it hit me, and it has not let go. About seven hundred years ago in England there was a man named John who worked iron. The village had too many Johns, so he became John the smith. Then John Smith. Then his kids were Smiths whether they ever touched a hammer or not. Miller ran the mill. Taylor held the needle. Baker. Carter. Cooper. Fisher. Half the names on any Little League roster started out as somebody's contact. Nobody hears them as jobs anymore. They turned into families. Which means it is happening again, right now, in this man's phone. Rick Trees is not a contact. Rick Trees is generation one. Somewhere around the year 2700 there will be a girl named Kaylee Trees who has never held a chainsaw, and she will have no idea her name began with a man who showed up on a Saturday, dropped a forty-foot oak exactly where he said it would land, and would only take cash. I told Tony all of this. He listened to the whole thing, then showed me how he has me saved. Nobu Strong. I have a surname. Seven hundred years from now there may be a family called Strong that does not know where it came from. I know. It was a sofa, and then a fridge.

In laymans terms, Titanium implants are strong and the body accepts them, but they’re way too stiff because the metal takes almost all the pressure, the real bone next to it gets lazy and starts to weaken over time (like a muscle that doesn’t get used). This was the issue with earlier titanium implants and joint replacements the new implant though are made from a special zinc alloy shaped like a lightweight, sponge-like lattice it is flexible and almost like real bone, so it shares the load properly and doesn’t cause that weakening problem Whats REALLY fucking cool is that its also designed to dissolve over time So its a temporary implant, and as it dissolves, it releases minerals and ions that actually promote your new, healthy bone in its place When the job is done, the implant is mostly gone and your own bone has taken over and is the proper strength -medical engineering is a marvel
today while talkin to my friend (who’s a doctor) I learned something really crazy That the titanium implants don't just sit in bone they actually bone grows into them the oxide layer on titanium surface is chemically close enough to biological tissue that cells can't find the boundary so they erase it osseointegration isn't the implant holding on it's biology deciding the metal belongs there the skeleton adopts the foreign object as its own Cyborg vibes

Well yes, and rice and potatoes. Kids should be eating gym bro food and crock pot / pressure cooker stews. Women should not make it anymore complicated than that.

There’s a moment in You Can See Everything where Seyfriend says something negative about Charlie Kirk and the audience at my showing cheered. I was sort of shocked by it. Felt like a strange kind of taking the measure of things.
this is not a small group of people on the left anymore, but a large, dominant faction without whom democrats can’t win elections. and there is no debating them, because they aren’t interested in changing your mind. they just earnestly want you to die.

Fun fact: they factor theft into prices, so shoplifting makes groceries more expensive.
Grocery stores make about $1 in profit for every $30 of goods sold. So if this person walked out carrying about $75 in groceries, that instantly erases the profit from $2250 in sales. Something to consider as you complain about grocery prices.

10 years ago they mocked us for claiming Obama was a socialist. Now they are proudly proclaiming their allegiance to Communism. All they ever do is lie.
UNDERCOVER: GAVIN NEWSOM SAYS THE DSA IS "GOING TO BE DOMINANT" AND "MAINSTREAM" IN THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY! "The DSA, the energy and the desire and demand for bold change, not incremental change, is very much going to be dominant. I mean, that's going to be a mainstream Democratic movement. Absolutely. No question about that." That's California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a likely 2028 presidential candidate, speaking to an undercover journalist while campaigning in New Hampshire. Asked by a "younger voter" who said "we don't want Kamala Harris, we want more democratic socialist policies": "No one is arguing to manage the status quo and fail more efficiently." "You can't play in the margins anymore. The system's broken. It's completely unbalanced, and we can't manage the decline. We have to completely reimagine."

Let me break down the Flavio Bolsonaro situation and why he is in the United States just hours after the election… First, they imprisoned his father. They sentenced Jair Bolsonaro to 27 years and placed him under house arrest after he challenged the 2022 results and was accused of plotting to overturn the election. In this recent election, Bolsonaro was ahead. Lula and his thugs, including his former corruption lawyer, who now sits on Brazil’s Supreme Court, requested a two-hour extension that miraculously produced enough votes for Lula to win. That extension added only about 35,000 votes, roughly 0.03 percent of the total, which is nowhere near enough to explain Lula’s final margin of roughly 4.4 million votes. Bolsonaro immediately challenged the election because anyone who is not a communist and has a brain could see that the election was stolen from him if they actually paid attention to what was happening. President Trump called the outcome a rigged election and said it looked very bad. Hours later, they accused him of trying to overturn the election, EXACTLY as they did to his father, and accused him of inciting “violence” in the streets. Then they prohibited him from leaving the country, even though he had committed no crime, and canceled his passport to make sure he could not leave. Fortunately, Bolsonaro had been working with the United States. They extracted him in an undisclosed operation before the authorities could throw him in prison just like his father. Meanwhile, while ALL of this is unfolding, Lula’s little tranny lover, Erika Hilton, who is a “Congresswoman,” is publicly calling for the Brazilian government to seize Bolsonaro’s and his wife’s assets and freeze ALL their bank accounts. DOES THAT SOUND NORMAL TO YOU? A man challenges an election, and suddenly the Brazilian government is coming after him for doing exactly that. THIS IS COMMUNISM. So while you see Democrats across our country congratulating Lula on his victory, including Alex Soros, the biggest demon of them all, understand exactly what you are looking at. These are the people cheering on a government that is targeting its political opposition. They are the enemy, and they will attempt the SAME thing against a Republican here in America, just as they did to Trump. This is EXACTLY why it is essential to vote RED and make absolutely sure our country NEVER becomes what Brazil has become. ONCE YOU GO COMMUNIST, YOU CAN NEVER GET OUT OF IT.

Grooming was obviously the correct way to describe this behavior. They find broken emotionally unstable people, offer them rebirth into something new that comes along with a new identity and community. It’s a powerful psychological temptation for someone who hates their life/ self. It’s how every religious cult has always operated.
This hurts, so fucking much.

As a kid I was categorized as a GATE student, “gifted and talented” and instead of putting me with other people in my peer group they decided to put me in the lowest performing school in Savannah GA in the hopes that somehow I would make the other kids smarter. What happened instead is: 1. Most of the teachers openly hated me because I would correct their work on the board almost every day. My math teacher was a 300lb sassy black woman who got so tired of me correcting her that during a PTA meeting she told my mom that I needed to focus less on being right and more on getting a bench press to get stronger so I wouldn’t get bullied so much. Looking back, kind of a based recommendation to be honest but yeah that really pissed my mom off for understandable reasons. 2. Instead of listening during class, since I’d already read the textbook cover to cover I just ended up stealing office supplies from the back of the classroom and making makeshift weapons to shoot folded Post-It notes via every firing mechanism possible with rudimentary office supplies 3. I joined a gang called The Kings, which was one of the more chill gangs but which got disbanded when one of the leaders brought a .45 silver plated Desert Eagle to school to show everybody. He was expelled and the rest of us were not really about that life so decided to take it easy. 4. The only fight I’ve ever gotten into in my life occurred during this time in middle school. One of the hoodrats from a different area of the hood decided to make fun of my mom so I beat the brakes off him then threw him into a brick wall. We became friends after tho. 5. My biology teacher was stupid hot so instead of listening during class I would just randomly hit on her in the middle of class. I don’t remember being too saucy with it but one of my buddies during that time reconnected with me and yeah he said I was just SUPER out of pocket with zero filter whatsoever (not much has changed) most likely out of sheer boredom more than anything. Sorry Ms. Brown you were a real one. 🤝 6. After I left the gang I wore dress shirts and slacks to class because that was just what I was comfortable wearing if I wasn’t wearing baggy jeans and a D.A.R.E. T-shirt so I was relentlessly bullied for that and guys would randomly lean over into my lane in the hallway while walking past each other and just yell “FAG!” into my face. On the other hand black women loved me and at least once a week one of them would randomly squeeze my ass and tell me “Damn you fine” which I took to be a sign of high respect in their culture. 7. Because I had come to Georgia from California I had essentially zero preconceived notions about racism etc and honestly most of the poor black kids were cooler than the poor white kids so thankfully they took me in as their token white friend. However this did involve having to witness just an egregious amount of fights between black girls. I would wager very few people in this world have seen as much weave thrown around as I did during my middle school years. I never cheered them on or anything like the black guys did I just sort of watched in a mixture of curiosity and horror. I think they kind of sensed I was uncomfortable so every once in a while one of the black guys would put his arm around me and steer me away like “You don’t gotta see all this man it’s probably going to get ugly.” I can’t even imagine what schools are probably like nowadays toward smart young white guys given how it was 30 years ago. Gotta be just crushingly brutal by this point.
Smart white boys surpass their teachers in intelligence by fourth or fifth grade. Remember public elementary school teachers have IQs around 100-105 based on SAT scores. These women know it and they hate it. They like compliance. They grade based on compliance.

June 6, 1944. An American paratrooper jumps into Normandy in the dark and lands on the roof of a church. By the end of the war he had been declared dead, held a funeral he didn't attend, escaped the Nazis, and fought his way toward Berlin in a Soviet tank unit. His name was Joseph Beyrle. He's believed to be the only American soldier to serve in both the US Army and the Red Army during World War Two. Beyrle was from Muskegon, Michigan. He joined the 101st Airborne, the Screaming Eagles. His buddies called him Jumpin' Joe. On D-Day night his plane was hit by flak and he jumped early. He came down on a church roof, slid off, and lost his unit in the chaos. For a few days he fought on his own, blowing up a power station and cutting German communications. Then he was captured. Here's where it gets strange. A German soldier ended up wearing Beyrle's uniform and dog tags. That German was killed. When the body was found, the Americans identified it as Joseph Beyrle. The army told his parents their son was dead. His hometown held a funeral mass for him. His obituary ran in the local paper. Meanwhile, he was very much alive, being moved from one German prison camp to another. He escaped more than once. One time he and two other prisoners jumped off a train heading east. They thought they were heading for Russia and freedom. They got lost and ended up in Berlin, where they were caught by the Gestapo, beaten, and tortured. In January 1945, from a camp in eastern Germany, he finally made a clean escape. He went east, toward the gunfire. Toward the Soviets. When he found a Soviet tank unit, he walked out with his hands up, holding a pack of Lucky Strike cigarettes, and shouted the only Russian he knew. American comrade. It worked. He asked to join them. And they said yes. For about a month, an American paratrooper rode with Soviet tank crews as they pushed toward Germany. He used his demolition training. He fought. He was reportedly welcomed by a Soviet officer who was one of the rare women commanding a tank battalion. Then a German dive bomber attacked. Beyrle was badly wounded. He was evacuated to a Soviet hospital. Soviet Marshal Georgy Zhukov reportedly visited, heard his story, and gave him papers to get to the American embassy in Moscow. When he showed up, the embassy didn't believe him. As far as the US was concerned, Joseph Beyrle was dead. They held him under guard until his fingerprints proved who he was. He made it home to Michigan in April 1945. In 1946 he got married. In the same church where they'd held his funeral. Decades later, in 1994, he was honored at the White House by President Bill Clinton and Russian President Boris Yeltsin for serving both countries. And the last twist. His son, Joseph Beyrle II, grew up to become the United States Ambassador to Russia.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Joseph Robert “Joe” Beyrle had two sons. The elder son, Joe Beyrle II, served during the Vietnam War, but wasn’t a US Ambassador. That was the other son, John Beyrle. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Be…

He went on stage with a record player that had the amplifier transistors isolated and proceeded to dominate them into boiling mineral oil. Here is why… In May 1954, after rivals claimed heat-proof transistors were impossible, Gordon Teal displayed a record player and a beaker of boiling oil. He spoke at the National Conference on Airborne Electronics in Dayton, Ohio, where the aerospace industry faced a barrier. At the time, commercial transistors relied on germanium. Although germanium had begun replacing bulky vacuum tubes in hearing aids and radios, it failed under heat. Its narrow bandgap meant that once temperatures rose past 65°C (150°F)—conditions common in cockpits, jet engines, and experimental missiles—thermal energy flooded the crystal with loose electrons. The transistor lost its ability to regulate current, making it useless for military avionics. The theoretical solution was silicon, whose wider bandgap allowed operation well beyond 150°C. Yet silicon melted at 1,414°C and reacted strongly with nearly any crucible used to melt it. Throughout the conference, representatives from industry leaders such as RCA, General Electric, and Raytheon presented papers explaining why silicon transistors remained years from practical manufacture. Then came Gordon Teal, research director of Texas Instruments, then a relatively small Dallas firm known for geophysical oil exploration. Teal had spent months leading a quiet team to refine silicon and grow single crystals using methods he had first developed at Bell Labs. Teal took the podium after hearing peers repeat the impossibility of silicon. When his turn arrived, he quietly challenged them, announcing that Texas Instruments already had commercial silicon transistors in production—and that he carried several in his pocket. To support his claim, Teal showed the device on stage. He connected a standard germanium transistor into the amplifier circuit playing music from the record player, then dipped the transistor into a beaker of mineral oil heated to 150°C. The sound stopped immediately. Teal then took out the germanium unit, inserted one of his new silicon transistors, and placed it straight into the hot oil. The record kept playing through the loudspeaker without distortion. The display triggered a quick surge. Attendees ran to the lobby payphones to contact their corporate offices and stockbrokers. Texas Instruments representatives distributed specification sheets from the rear of the hall, securing a commercial monopoly on silicon transistors that endured for three years. The transistor went on to change the world. You are using a few billion right now reading this…
