Did some tests on building lighting at First National last night. This is 8 lights, plans call for over 100 on the upper floors. Hundreds of color combinations. More testing next week. Pretty cool.

Removing the 14th floor of First National. This is brutal work in the cold wind. Demolition has to be carefully done by hand to avoid concrete & steel from falling. All these folks working hard to make FNC a reality will get the Royal Red Carpet treatment at the Grand Opening!

Years of neglect and temperature/humidity swings are causing the vault doors to oxidize. We brought in experts from Texas to clean and cover the vaults for protection. When we uncover them in two years, they will be spectacular!

Apologies for all the vault posts but the restoration process of these wonderful & unique pieces of history is spectacular & so much fun! Will take one month to clean, polish and cover all 5 of them.

Never thought we could make the vaults look this good. This is fun!

First wall beginning to come down on the east building at First National. This is on the south side facing Main Street Parking Garage at their express ramp. The east portion of this building on Broadway will be removed & the parking garage ramp built in its place. It’s happening!

We’ve spent two years working on designing the Great Hall @FirstNationalCenter. It’s arguably the most impressive room in the city, maybe the state. My challenge to the team has been to make it into one of the most spectacular rooms in the country! I think we’re close. – at Oklahoma City, OK

Sparks are Flying @FirstNationalCenter. Torches are used to cut large mechanical equipment & duct work into small pieces that can be removed from the building and sent to the recycling center. Very hard & labor intensive work. @MidwestWrecking is the best! @VincitConstruct – at Oklahoma City, OK

Removing large (& heavy!) granite off the walls of the 1957 building @FirstNationalCenter. Center & East buildings will become the parking garage. Years ago, office construction in the tower removed many of these beautiful panels & replaced them with Sheetrock in the corridors. – at Edmond, OK

We will reuse these granite panels in the 1931 tower where the original granite was removed and destroyed. – at Edmond, OK

Our little fire @FirstNationalCenter led to some high-rise training Sunday morning with @OKCFD. Great to have them in the building under less stressful conditions. xitter.gq/okcfd/status/935528828… – at Edmond, OK
