Ngl alot of y’all’s “activism” for the DRC starts and ends at “Apple products bad” and you fail to actually understand the complexity and weight the genocide and abuse in the DRC holds for the entire global system of capitalism as we know it today. Apple is one of thousands of beneficiaries of the destabilization of the DRC.

Confused at some of the feedback regarding B2K’s new album. B2K - still very much a boy band. Their last album as a group was the You Got Served Soundtrack - circa 2003. 23 years ago. For those expecting Pop Pop music and ballads - that was never them to begin with. These men DANCE and dance well. Like New Edition - it’s always gonna be about the performance. If you thought a comeback album wouldn’t still be records they can perform the hell out of, you thought wrong. Lastly, they’re only 40 with a brand that reads 25-35. They’re not 60 [also not old]. Their fanbase is both aunties, nieces, uncles, and nephews. You gotta mix of club, ballads, bops, mid tempos. Everyone’s on leads. Fresh production. Hits. Appreciate it or ignore it. They did it: they did what many OG girl groups ain’t willing to do: put the bullshit to the side and deliver new music for their day one fans. #Eclipse #B2K
