I would make the same point about crossing in a crosswalk and it’s stupid to be mad about it. You’re taking your life into your hands if you cross a street in this city, and it’s good for more people to understand that.

An 18-yr-old male is critically injured after today’s noon targeted shooting at 46th & Charlotte. The victim was in the back seat of a silver Ford sedan as it was followed by a possible gold Chevy Cruze prior to gunfire near the intersection as the cars approached the red light.

People demonize developers for anything and everything. It's unfair and Sanic Comms is right to shoot it down. Don't blame developers for the lack of bike parking in Nashville. They are good, smart people who simply offer what the marker demands.

Developers will do everything they can to maximize occupancy rates by offering amenities that cause people to rent there. Maybe they see all those empty bike lanes.

An equally large differential in happiness is bike commuting surrounded by angry drivers or on a greenway safely. The deciding factor in making biking fun and viable is allowing cars everywhere and has always been allowing cars everywhere. Weather, hills etc have a small impact.
