📱 Ever tried uploading a 4K video on the go and watched the progress bar crawl?
That used to be one of my biggest frustrations. Then came 5G and edge computing.
Today, I can shoot, edit, and publish content from almost anywhere.

Leadership weakens when ego enters decisions and shifts attention from shared outcomes to personal visibility, creating distance between intent and action. Direction becomes stronger when purpose guides choices, listen first, act with integrity, and support the team.

Our CEO @JensenHuang met the next generation of AI builders in Astana. 🇰🇿
At alem.ai, he spent time with students and startups and joined Deputy Prime Minister @Zhaslan_Madiyev to discuss Kazakhstan’s AI future.
Europe has spent generations mastering science, engineering, and manufacturing. That knowledge and expertise can now power AI of its own.
“Let’s work together to build Europe’s AI economy and put AI to work.” — @JensenHuang at GTC Berlin

AI consumes energy in 2 phases: training and inference. The first has a finite cost per training run; the second keeps accumulating with use.
One training run has a defined end. Inference follows demand, whether the model handles a few requests or millions.
Microblog @antgrasso
Training requires computation to develop the model. Once a training run is complete, the energy consumed during that run is a fixed total.
The trained model can then be used repeatedly without being trained again for every request.
But every request still requires computation.
The more frequently the model is used, the more inference energy accumulates. The amount also depends on how much processing each request requires.
A simple question and a complex analysis do not necessarily consume the same amount of energy.
For organizations deploying AI, estimating energy consumption means considering both the training process and the workload generated throughout the life of the service.

A few years ago, I never imagined I’d be saying this: I co-create content with AI.
And honestly? It’s not competition—it’s collaboration.
The future of content creation isn't "human vs. AI." It's human + AI.

It was great to catch up with @lenadroid after her keynote at AGNTcon in San Jose, yesterday! We had a great discussion around DevRel, AI’s impact in changing processes and impacting different personas, technology trends in general, practitioner economics, developer proximity, vendor-side traits, systems economics, and a lot more software systems related topics in an hour-long discussion.
Lena’s thoughtfulness and attention to details regarding software systems is impressive! Its great knowing her!
Meeting sovereignty requirements shouldn't limit possibilities. Together with @Microsoft, we're helping organizations balance control, security, and flexibility across their workloads.
Digital sovereignty requirements vary by workload, and they keep changing. Microsoft and @Intel are building a consistent foundation from edge to cloud, so you can run AI where your data lives, with controls you can verify.
