Arteta says playing for Arsenal means dealing with both the highs and the difficult moments, whatever your age. His message to Dowman is to avoid feeling sorry for himself, accept what happened, learn from it and keep working.
He also stressed that talent alone isn’t enough to maintain a high level at Arsenal there are many areas a player has to keep improving. But Arteta believes Dowman has the talent, determination and intelligence to do that.
