⌚🇨🇦 I BOUGHT TWO WATCHES IN 10 MINUTES! I wasn’t planning to buy a Whitby Watch Co. CF-100 Canuck at the Toronto Timepiece Show, especially since I’d just purchased an Elliot Brown Holton GMT Automatic! But sometimes a watch catches your eye, and you just can’t walk away. Now this 43mm Canadian titanium pilot watch is getting more wrist time than watches costing considerably more! A quick technical correction: In the video, I mistakenly referred to a titanium caseback. The Canuck actually features a 43mm titanium case with a sapphire crystal on the front and a sapphire exhibition caseback, allowing you to see the Swiss Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement inside. Full disclosure: This is NOT a paid sponsorship or advertisement. I purchased this watch myself. Whitby generously provided additional strap options to accommodate my wrist, but this is simply a post from a watch enthusiast who genuinely loves his purchase! I’ve published my full independent ownership review at wristleague.com, including what I love about the Canuck and a few things I think could be improved. Now I’m curious: Have you ever bought a watch you weren’t planning to buy, only to discover it became one of your favourites? #WristLeague #WhitbyWatchCo #Canuck #WatchEnthusiast #CanadianWatches #WatchReview

Are tickets enough when someone keeps putting lives at risk? I make the case for much tougher consequences for dangerous driving, including a proposal that will divide the comments: losing the car permanently. This is my opinion about how the law should change. Where would you draw the line? This clip is from the October 20, 2026 #ASKaTrafficCOP livestream. I’m Sean Shapiro, a former police officer talking about traffic safety, traffic law, and police stuff. Follow the channel and join the conversation. #AATC #Police #DangerousDriving #stunt Thank you to our sponsors: @diamond_lawyers @legionsafes @iFinallyWill

🦶 Is it illegal to drive barefoot in Ontario? No, but that doesn’t mean you should! During the October 6, 2026, #ASKaTrafficCOP livestream, I was asked whether driving barefoot was against the law. I explained why driving without shoes creates risks that many people never consider. What happens when you need to brake suddenly? What happens if you’re involved in a collision and need to escape your vehicle? Sometimes what’s legal isn’t what’s safest. #AATC #Police #DrivingBarefoot #DrivingMyths #OntarioTrafficLaws #RoadSafety #TrafficSafety @diamond_lawyers

It’s a foggy morning, visibility is reduced, and drivers should already be slowing down and using extra caution. Then I watched a driver blow through a stop sign directly in front of the crosswalk I was about to use, with a crossing guard standing right there. They ran the stop sign, pulled over, dropped their child off at school, then let their dog out for a pee. Seriously? And on the walk back, I passed another dad pulling over to drop his kiddo off at school late. Guess why he was driving with only one hand? Yep. Phone in the other one. If you ever want to be horrified by driver behaviour, spend some time near a school during drop-off or pickup. You will see some of the worst driving imaginable. These are supposed to be among our safest streets because this is where some of the most important people are, our children. Slow down. Stop at stop signs. Put the phone away. Pay attention. And on a foggy morning like this, give yourself even more time and space. My name is Sean Shapiro. I’m a former police officer who talks about traffic safety, traffic law and police stuff. You should probably be following this channel. #TrafficSafety #SchoolZone #RoadSafety CrossingGuard @ASKaTrafficCop @diamond_lawyers @legionsafes @TrafficServices @YRP @OPP_HSD @opp

🔐 FROM THE VAULT We’re opening the vault and bringing back some of my favourite videos from over the years. This one is from 2021 and went on to reach more than 6 million views. It starts with a stitched clip showing just how dramatic dark window tint can be. With the window up, it looks almost like nighttime. Drop the window, and suddenly it is clearly daytime. It is a great visual reminder of the problem with excessively dark tint. If visibility is that reduced during the day, imagine the impact at night, especially when trying to see pedestrians, cyclists, road hazards, or anything else outside the vehicle. This video was originally filmed while I was a member of the Toronto Police Service. I retired from policing in 2024 and am no longer a police officer. Any references in the original video to me being a police officer reflect my status at the time it was recorded. Original footage courtesy of the Toronto Police Service. If you love watches, get your tickets now for the Toronto Timepiece Show. timepieceshow.com/ The show runs September 25th to 27th at the Meridian Arts Centre in North York, with more than 85 watch brands represented under one roof. Friday, September 25th is the VIP and media day. A limited number of tickets are available to the public, so if you want that early-access experience, don’t wait. Saturday and Sunday are open to the general public. I’ll be there all weekend with WatchDNA, talking watches, meeting collectors, speaking with brands and, of course, checking out a lot of watches. One of the biggest reasons to attend a show like this is that you simply can’t judge a watch properly from a website. Photos and specs only tell you so much. Seeing it in person, putting it on your wrist, feeling the weight, seeing the finishing and understanding how it actually wears can completely change your opinion of a watch. If you’re a collector, a watch enthusiast, just getting into horology, or simply curious about what’s out there, this is the place to be. Come find me and say hello. ⌚ Toronto Timepiece Show 📅 September 25–27 📍 Meridian Arts Centre, North York 🕰️ 85+ brands 🎟️ Limited public tickets available for Friday’s VIP and media day 🎟️ Saturday and Sunday open to the general public Get your tickets now. #TorontoTimepieceShow #WatchDNA #Watches #Horology #WatchCollector #WatchCommunity #WatchEnthusiast #TorontoEvents #TorontoWatches
