JUST IN: Dubai International Airport forced to divert flights after torrential downpour causes the runway to look like an ocean.
Citizens are being told to stay inside as thunder, lighting, hail and heavy rain slams the region.
Dubai saw more rainfall in one day than they see on average for an entire year, nearly 5 inches.
The country of Oman was also hit by the intense rain which reportedly killed 18 people.

In light of the recent allegations on myself and the confusion around the Desert Edge Football And Track Programs, Marcus (@SpiceBoy408) and I have effectively resigned as the Head Football Coaches and Boys Head Track and Field Coach at Desert Edge High School. This takes in effect immediately. We want to thank the Agua Fria Union High School District for the opportunity to impact student- athletes through extracurricular activities. We are proud of all the great things we’ve accomplished. In 4 years 52 players with the opportunity to play at the next level and 19 of those 52 were Division 1 players. Not to forget to mention the countless great future fathers, husbands, drs, lawyers, and generational curse breakers. We are grateful for the memories created. To our coaches… thank you for your blood, sweat, and tears. Because you guys, we are where we are today. Multiple Region Championships, Quarterfinals Appearance, Semifinals Appearance, Championship Appearances, and an Open Playoff Appearance. Well done. We love our players and coaches, there’s zero doubt about that. In our last display of love, we taking the ultimate sacrifice to hopefully allow them the opportunity to play a complete season. We are doing the most we can on our end to ensure that happens.

NEW: Pregnant woman airlifted by the US Coast Guard from a Disney cruise ship 180 miles northwest of Puerto Rico in the Atlantic Ocean.
The woman was rescued by crew on a Coast Guard MH-60T Jayhawk helicopter.
A rescuer rappelled down from the helicopter and strapped the woman to a gurney before taking her to the Centro Medico Hospital in Puerto Rico.
The woman was reportedly suffering from medical complications that "required a higher level of medical care" than what was on board the ship.

I regret to inform you that I will no longer allow my family to fly on your airline as you have clearly placed “diversity” of pilot hiring above safety of passengers and crew. As evidenced by the near aviation catastrophe of UA Boeing 777 flight 1722 from Maui to San Francisco Dec 18th 2023, where your diverse but incompetent flight crew didn’t know which flaps were causing its near disastrous dissent, coming within 750 feet of killing every one aboard your United Airline.
I cannot tell you how many @UnitedAirlines employees have personally thanked me for my valid criticism of your careless and life threatening leadership.
