NEW: We broke down the threat of gerrymandering in all 50 states. The bad news? 35 states (!) are at an extreme or high risk of gerrymandering - & district lines will be redrawn later this year. 🚨 We must stop federal gerrymandering by passing the #ForthePeopleAct.

Some of our alarming findings: 🚨35 states are at an extreme or high risk for gerrymandering 🚨Only a handful of states currently prevent politicians from rigging their districts 🚨If we don’t change this now, voters in 70% of states will live with the threat of rigged maps

The #Census results are nearly here—and politicians are preparing to redraw voting maps so they can pick their voters, instead of the other way around. This blatant manipulation is called gerrymandering, and we need the #ForThePeopleAct to make it illegal before it’s too late.
