That’s the problem they just look at the goals tally + don’t apply context. Kane had the same non penalty goals+assists as Olise who had a better world cup yet he only finished 9th. Salah’s season was more unique/impressive, it’s criminal a part time footballer won it over him.

This Kane win is bigger than just him. It’s for GOAT level Prem players like Salah and KDB, who are Ballon d’Or worthy and, with more luck, could’ve won one. It shows how hard it is to win one in England when Kane had to go to Germany to FINALLY get the recognition he deserves.
