This Polish situation is gaslighting to the max.
Right wingers capture institutions then accuse democratically elected governments of staging a "coup" when they try to uphold the rule of law and the constitution.
It happened in many places, it is happening in the US too.
The fact that pro-russian mouthpieces and the most terrible people on the internet are trying to attack Donald Tusk for upholding the law, should tell you everything you need to know and what side you should be on.
I fully support PM @donaldtusk in his efforts to uphold the rule of law.
The forces trying to take Poland out of the EU work for russia and MAGA fascists trying to make us weak and slaves to their demented vision of the world.

The children Trump invited to the white house were dressed in Soviet-style tank crew uniform and soviet peaked cap; the girl a traditional Russian sarafan and kokoshnik-like headband
This was to humanise Russian's, to make Americans think they're the same
They are not.........

As a Ukrainian, I personally am very happy about the renewal of strikes on Russian oil refineries.
Russia is bombing us anyway, killing our kids on the streets, striking our energy grid, killing families in their homes, so if stopping changes nothing, why should we?
Because Trump says it would help him broker a deal? A corrupt enrichment deal - yes, definitely. A peace deal - no.
Because he will stop sharing intelligence? Then more of us will die, but at least we'd die resisting. And not succumb to blatant blackmail.... of the victim! When its Russia who is the aggressor, and who should be blackmailed and pressured into stopping strikes.

The most monstrous thing ever uttered by a human being is to frame this as a humanitarian act by someone.
A bus packed with civilians—women and children included.
Steve Witkoff is eager to do business with Mr. Humanitarian Putin.
God, how disgusting!

I’m a pile of tears right now. I’m sure like many of you I’ve followed her dad’s journey from a baker by profession who baked cakes & bread to assault soldier to a drone operator. I can’t imagine her pain. She referred to him as “my entire world. My utmost inspiration & example.”

Canada's Secretary of State for Sport, Adam van Koeverden, joins Hockey Canada in disagreeing with the CAS regarding the reintroduction of Russia to IIHF competition.
World Juniors are set for Alberta this winter Canada currently bars Russian teams from entering the country, a different rule when compared to individual athletes.
AVK: "Canada maintains, as it has since 2022, that Russia should not be represented in international sport competitions while Russia's illegal and unjustifiable full-scale invasion against Ukraine continues.
Canada will maintain restrictions on the participation of Russian athletes at events hosted in Canada that receive funding from the Government of Canada and explore further options to ensure that the Russian government is held accountable."

“We see, we do not forgive.”
This Toonie Tuesday we are working with our good friend Hotoke (@hotoke_shinei)
– a courageous soldier in the 164th Radio Technical Brigade. Together we will be collecting for a3D printer, EcoFlow and laptop, SUV and urgent repairs for 2 vehicles.
Our goal is $10k. This unit was recently hit by orcish attacks. Equipment was destroyed and personnel were injured – they now turn to us to help them get back on their feet.

In today's Whitehouse on a Halloween party we a kid wearing a russian military uniform with a modern russian tank forces patch featuring Armata tank.
This is a carefully crafted political message by someone in Trump's inner circle.
This isn't a coincidence.
Troops wearing this patch are currently pillaging and raping Ukrainian children, while their supporters and enablers sends their kids to celebrate Halloween with the USA president.

Russian hockey teams to be allowed to participate in world championships – The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has sided with the aggressor and ordered the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) to reinstate the participation of Russian teams.
In the arbitration, it was noted that this year, CAS received three separate appeals from the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RHF) regarding the decisions of the International Ice Hockey Federation.
Russian athletes were subjected to sanctions following the start of the full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
In January 2026, the Council of the International Ice Hockey Federation made a decision not to allow Russian teams to participate in competitions under the auspices of the IIHF.
The Russians appealed this decision.
Today, CAS upheld one of the appeals, ordering the IIHF to allow the participation of Russian teams in:
The World Junior Championship in Canada in December-January.
The Women's Under-18 World Championship in the Czech Republic in January 2027.
The Men's Under-18 World Championship in the United States in the spring of 2027.
The Men's World Championship in Germany in May 2027.
The Women's World Championship in Canada in November 2027.
The CAS panel, consisting of judges Giulio Palermo (chairman, Italy), Ismail Selim (Egypt), and Mark Howell (Great Britain), found the arguments presented by the International Ice Hockey Federation in favor of suspending Russian athletes to be insufficient.
