We acknowledge there are a subset of players exploiting a bug with ground vehicles that allow them to 'fly' around the map. We are actively working on a server sided hotfix for this. In the meantime, anyone caught abusing will be perma banned. You have been warned.

Expecting rain? ⛈️ Rain is a randomised weather event on map change, just like other lighting / weather scenarios in Early Access. You should see rain within 24 hours across all regions.

WARDOGS | Season 02 is now LIVE. Services are now back online. New season, New content. Season 2 Patch Notes: store.steampowered.com/news/…

Update on Season 02 deployment. We will post again when Season 02 is officially released.

📢 Scheduled Maintenance Window & Steam Update There will be a maintenance window on October 15th between 08:00 and 09:30 UTC. We estimate roughly 90 minutes of downtime before the new season goes live. See you on there servers.

📢 PSA: We have made 2 key balance changes. Within the next 12 hours, the IR Rangefinders will be disabled in the vendor until Season 02, where they will require batteries to use. In this instance, we agree with player sentiment and they cross the line into being too overpowered. The CWIS also now destroys the havoc in around 6 seconds as opposed to 12. We acknowledge we overcorrected this in the previous patch and have hotfixed the issue this morning. No new client download required.

Heads-up 📢 A hotfix is planned for tomorrow, Friday 2nd, at 08:00 UTC, to address minor security and stability issues affecting some players. Expected downtime is one hour. store.steampowered.com/news/…

Heads-up! 📢 WARDOGS enters a maintenance window today at 08:00 UTC, estimated to last 1 hour. Services will be offline while we deploy update 0.1.2. Read the Update 0.1.2 Patch Notes here: store.steampowered.com/news/…

📢 Services are now coming back online. Thankyou for your patience.

PSA: WARDOGS will be entering a maintenance window at 11:00 UTC, estimated to last around 1 hour. Services will be offline while we deploy a small number of security updates. We’ll post again as soon as everything is back online and players can login. Thanks for your patience.

PSA: WARDOGS services are currently experiencing network disruption in non EU regions, primarily North America. You may experience connection issues while we work to mitigate the disruption. Thanks for your patience.

📢 PSA 'WD-L020 Crash Error' We are aware that some players have recently started encountering a WD-L020 error when launching WARDOGS. Our preliminary investigation has identified a potential compatibility issue related to the latest Windows 11 update, KB5124010. Microsoft lists KB5124010 as a September 22 preview update for Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2, rather than a regular security update. Our team is actively investigating the issue and working on a solution. We appreciate your patience while we get this resolved. If you would prefer not to wait for a fix, rolling back Windows update KB5124010 may allow you to launch the game again. Instructions on how to do so can be found here: steamcommunity.com/app/18672… If you’re not comfortable removing a Windows update, we recommend leaving it installed and waiting while we work on a resolution. We apologise for the inconvenience this is causing and appreciate your patience while our team investigates.

Heads-up 📢 A number of accounts were exploiting Steam Family Sharing to bypass bans, explicitly to cheat and impact legitimate matches. We've disabled the feature to help protect legitimate players. Thank you for your reports. They help us uphold the integrity of the game.

Attention 🚨 We've discovered that a single server was 'cursed'. 100 / 300,000 players have consistently been booted back to the main menu when joining this server. This server has now been taken down.
