Had no idea you can black light PSA slabs to check authenticity 🕵🏽♂️
From Farezz_Sports on IG:
"If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
My Spidey senses were tingling when I made this “steal” the other day. I knew something was up, so as soon as the package landed, I went to pick it up.
The second I opened it, the slab felt weird and cheap. I’ve never held an All Kings card before, but I’ve held a TON of PSA slabs, and this one felt completely off. You can hear it in my voice in the video. I knew right away it was fake. I laughed because it was such a bad fake.
I took it home and put it under a black light. The PSA markings didn’t show up like they did on the real slabs I compared it to in the video.
Just wanted to share this so everyone stays alert. Know who you’re buying from, trust your gut, and if the deal seems too good to be true… it probably is."
Last sale of the 2025 Topps Chrome Wembanyama All Kings PSA 10 was $28K
Todays walk through the 1952 @topps set features a Chicago White Sox catcher. Phil Masi card #283 shown here toward the end of his playing career. This four time All Star was a solid catcher for three teams. The deep purple on this card is one of a handful in the set but the overall image looks amazing @CardPurchaser
Todays walk through the 1952 @topps set features a Cleveland Indian Birdie Tebbets card #282. Birdie was a player and after a manager with an above .500 winning percentage. The was a four time All Star. These portrait cards never get old @CardPurchaser
Todays walk through the 1952 @topps set features a youngster from the Philadelphia Phillies Tommy Brown card #281. Tommy was the youngest player to ever homer and the only living member in 2025 to have played in a MLB game prior to the end of WWII. He was a Ford man working for them after his playing days. The history of the greatest generation never gets old @CardPurchaser
The looming baseball lockout will definately create a backlash if it comes to fruition. Basketball along with football should be fine and sustain those that have prepared for the stupidity to come @CardPurchaser new release Baseball products will suffer a pullback. First you will see break spots not filling. The allocations for direct accounts will be easier to get. I have seen this before and if not for Ripken and McGwire Sosa baseball would have been hurting for a LONG LONG TIME. Keep your finger on the pulse of baseball repackers. When they stop buying baseball gets cheaper for modern cards. Vintage is solid and fine
Todays walk through the 1952 @topps set features Cloyd Boyer of the St Louis Cardinals pitcher card #280. The Boyers were a baseball family. Floyd was a coach with the Atlanta Braves in the late 1970s when Murphy and Horner were young rookies. This colorful portrait showcases his Cards uniform @CardPurchaser
WTH how can something like this be backdoored @Topps @Fanatics this one will cause an iconic card 1 of 1 issue. Someone needs to investigate the person selling this. @CardPurchaser the hobby watchdogs need to be on this one
@SportsCardDad
Todays walk through the 1952 @topps set features a Chicago White Sox Ed Stewart card#279. Ed had a nine year career and the back of his card reads like a life well lived. Serving in the Arny during WWII and he was a physical educator teacher. He had just over 500 career hits and this card with bleachers in the background is a keeper @CardPurchaser
