My #CBB Recap for today: -0.29U We went heaviest on Allen which proved to hurt us today. Happy with all 3 reads honestly. Didn’t get to post Hammond to Twitter but nonetheless, should be back for plays tomorrow if given solid lines!

Purely focused on taking some upside here with McKeever logging 7 assists in 14 minutes in the only recorded exhibition for Iowa this pre-season. McKeever acts as a hub for this Iowa offense, either passing out of the corner of the foul line or working off of being doubled in the post. Coach’s say once again goes the mile here with Coach McCollum saying this after their last exhibition game: “He’s a great passer, great screener. … anytime you low-side double, for him, he’s an excellent passer. He’s going to be really good. He’s just going to scratch the surface of what he is.” In the Media availability here is how McKeever responded to one of the questions asked by a beat reporter: Reporter asked: "You had 7 assists in that exhibition game. How have you been able to see your game kind of adapt to where maybe if you are not getting the looks down low, you are still able to make a big impact? He responded with: "Yeah I think that was something I was really looking for coming to a new team this year to really show off my passing and I think being on the floor with four dudes who can really shoot it really expands my game and I feel like it helped them shoot the ball really well." So really taking obvious upside here as well as lines that were adjusted to his time with the Gaels. Only concern is that he is banged up right now, hence why he’s running limited minutes. Allen’s Logs in the 3 Exhibitions they played: 5/10 FGs 7/8 FTs 19 Points in 31 Mins against Ole Miss 7/14 FGs 2/2 FTs 19 Points in 26 Mins against Furman 7/12 FGs 7/9 FTs 23 Points in 28 Mins against Auburn Nate Oats said this about Allen headed into the season: "Playing more with the ball in his hands more. Shoot, he'll be the one guy handling the ball tonight at the point guard spot. He's more of a leader. More vocal. He's kind of taken ownership. It's more his team. I think he's primed to have a really good year for us." Going with the obvious shot-chucker for Alabama to cover tonight. 14.5 Points bump is fine as well.

NEED A PLAY FOR THIS WEAK #CBB SLATE? I got you 🤝🏻 Johann Grunloh “O” 11.5 Points+Rebounds Johann returns to this hyped up UVA squad with a run in March dialed up. Couldn’t really argue against his OOC numbers here. 11/12 on this line. His production dropped after playing through a broken wrist. Good for him though is that Coach Odom has stated that he’s fully healthy now and has put on around 15 pounds of muscle. Think he will have the ball a bit more this season as well with coach’s speak. Here’s what Odom said: “I'm excited for him and what's next," Odom told reporters. "I think you'll see him dribble the ball more. We're allowing him to kind of rebound it and go and bust out and start the break a little bit to make us a little bit faster." Gonna take advantage of a low line based off of his recent injury production to end the past season. He’s gotten volume throughout the 3 exhibitions, he just had to cover.
