For two decades, the Women in Construction Conference has been bringing together industry professionals to connect, learn, lead, and inspire. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this incredible journey, we can't wait to celebrate with you this October!

WIC participated in the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's Construction Hike for Hope. We raised $380 in support of mental health and suicide prevention in the construction industry. A few of our WIC members attended the hike and enjoyed a wonderful morning outside!

In May, WIC hosted our Mentorship Happy Hour to celebrate the incredible mentors and mentees participating in the WIC Mentorship Program. If you're looking for a mentor or mentee in the WIC community, please reach out to us or come to one of our upcoming events!

That's a wrap! As we close out another inspiring Women in Construction Week, we’re especially excited for what’s ahead. The 20th annual Women in Construction Conference will take place on October 16th, 2026.

Wendy Thomas Wendrowski is Senior Counsel at Seyfarth Shaw LLP and serves as the VP of Governance for the Women in Construction Conference. What she values most about WIC is the strong collaboration between the board and its members.

Jodie is a Senior Manager at Deloitte and serves as the VP of Mentorship for the WIC Conference. When asked her favorite part of WIC, her answer is simple: the people. It’s the relationships and genuine support within this community that make the greatest impact.

Kelly is a Senior VP at Bozzuto and serves as the VP of Sponsorship for the Women in Construction Conference. What she values most about WIC is the access it creates — direct connection to senior leaders, decision-makers, and peers across every sector of construction.

Meet Brandi Shirbacheh is an Account Manager – DAS/Wireless at Graybar Electric and serves as VP of Stewardship for the WIC Conference. What she loves most about WIC is its continued focus on helping members grow both professionally and personally.

Meet Purva Gokhale, Owner & Principal of Mascon Project Controls and VP of Membership for the WIC Conference. A defining moment in Purva’s career was being asked to speak on panels, stepping into that role herself felt surreal — that she had truly “made it.”
