A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 9PM for all of Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania.

As of the 11PM update, our Air Quality Index has improved from Hazardous to Very Unhealthy. The latest reading was 299... just a couple clicks under the 301 threshold for Hazardous. Slow trends in the right direction continue.

Winter Weather Advisory now in effect for much of Central PA until Friday morning.

Temperatures this month ran more than 4.5 degrees below normal. We finished tied for the 23rd coldest January on record. January 1977 no where near challenged. The average temperature was 15 degrees then!
