november 4th 2026. it has been three years since my sister Doaa and my niece Sham were unfairly stolen from us and killed by the inhumane israeli forces.
Please make dua for them. for their souls to rest in peace. for their murderers to be punished in this life and the hereafter

If you’re celebrating voting wins today, consider celebrating by donating and supporting Palestinians in Gaza! No matter what, America is still funding their genocide and they need your help!
Remember, your vote matters. You have a say who is in power! Protect your rights. Voting is also not the only way to support either, we obviously can’t just stop the government from giving Israel aid but we can get aid to Palestinians: ko-fi.com/sitcomabed/goal?g=…

Gaza City is literally living through its final days, and every passing day makes life here more difficult and unbearable.
We are losing what little remains of our resources and capabilities, with no alternatives available. Dozens of essential goods and raw materials are still prohibited from entering. Every basic necessity of life is gradually disappearing from the city. I am not exaggerating; this is the reality we are living. Things you take for granted in your everyday lives, things you barely think twice about, are simply unavailable here.
It has reached the point where even lighters are no longer available. Wood, iron, cement, and all other construction materials are prohibited from entering. Bakeries, water stations, and shops are shutting down one after another because of shortages of fuel, oils, and raw materials. Even the agricultural sector has been almost entirely destroyed after approximately 70% of agricultural land was seized.
We are not simply facing a shortage of goods. We are gradually losing everything that allows a city to function, survive, and sustain life.
What is happening is pushing Gaza City towards complete dependence on external aid, rather than allowing it to produce its own necessities and provide for its people.
Write, share, and speak about what is happening. Do not stop amplifying our voices.

Israeli occupation forces detained Palestinian journalist Abed Abu Shehadeh after raiding his home in Yafa, occupied Palestine, overnight. Around 15 Israelis, including masked personnel, stormed his home and confiscated electronic devices and books.
Police initially refused to disclose his whereabouts or the reasons for his detention, despite repeated inquiries from his lawyers.

don't make me tap this sign
at this point i'd rather not have to be constantly mentioned, just save it for the youtubers and whatnot who aren't saying anything about palestine
...why did i not consider writing this before? i'm dumb. but anyhow. here is an explanation because i have gotten several requests to help and i don't want to badly reword myself when i respond:

ALT "i'll also provide context in my retweets, but, if you approach me wanting me to help, i cannot do much: 1. do not expect me to retweet immediately 2. don't repeatedly tag me, i see it, just refer to the first point 3. i cannot donate! i can only retweet! that is something i'll figure out sometime, as my mom unfortunately hates donating to campaigns and 'feeling forced' i hope this makes sense!!"

Meta has taken down the Instagram account of Anas Al-Sharif, the Al Jazeera journalist killed by Israel in Gaza last year, according to a notice published by those managing his accounts.
Al-Sharif was among the most widely followed journalists reporting from northern Gaza. On August 10, 2025, Israel assassinated him alongside several Al Jazeera colleagues in a strike on a journalists’ tent outside al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. Israel accused him, without credible evidence, of being affiliated with Hamas, a claim rejected by both Al-Sharif and the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ).

Mondoweiss’s statement on the murder of Palestinian journalist Hassan Eslayeh
On April 7, Israel bombed a journalists’ tent outside Nasser Hospital, burning several people alive and killing Palestinian journalist Ahmad Mansour. Among the survivors was Hassan Eslayeh, the beloved Gaza journalist known for his utmost professionalism and for being a reliable source of news inside Gaza. Hassan was severely burned and lost two fingers in the bombing. On that same day, the Israeli army said that Hassan was the target of the attack, claiming he was a Hamas fighter operating “under the guise of a journalist.” Israel was lying — the same way it has lied about the countless other journalists it killed in cold blood.
Hassan Eslayeh’s work with Mondoweiss has been invaluable for our Gaza coverage. Hassan often provided us with vital testimonies and interviews that helped expose the truth of Israel’s genocidal war. After the first attempt on Hassan’s life, Tareq Hajjaj, our Gaza Correspondent, spoke to him as he was recovering in the hospital.
“It would not be difficult for the [Israeli] occupation to assassinate me again,” Hassan told Tareq. “They may target me inside the hospital, in this room of mine. What can I do?”
Today, Israel killed Hassan, exactly as he had predicted. The army struck Nasser Hospital’s burn unit, where Hassan was still recovering from his injuries.
Hassan knew that he was a walking target. He, more than most, was aware of the war that Israel is waging on Palestinian journalists - one that has never been seen in modern warfare. And the reason is simple: Israel knows that Palestinian journalists are the only ones in the world bearing witness to one of the greatest crimes of our time.
And as one of the most influential and well-connected journalists in Gaza, Hassan Eslayeh held in his hands the documentation of the extermination of an entire society. People and nations around the world are increasingly rejecting Israeli propaganda justifying Hassan’s murder, and the murder of every Palestinian journalist by Israeli forces.
Palestinian journalists are being assassinated in their homes, out in the field, and in the case of Hassan, even in their hospital beds. It is our duty, and the moral and ethical obligation of all journalists and media institutions around the world to condemn these blatant war crimes and the targeting of our colleagues.
We leave you with the words Hassan told us over the phone before he died, sadly prophetic, but ringing true today and tomorrow:
“If the Israeli army kills me, the photos I took and the stories I told the world will live on. My name, my cause, and my voice will live on — and the occupation will die.”
