The weather forced us indoors but couldn’t dampen the Holbeckian spirit - a joyfully musical afternoon was had by all. We ate, sang & danced with our neighbours❤️🤍💙 Thank you @dermot_daly #BackstageBrass @TheHoneyBirds & @WYSOLeeds 🎶🇬🇧 #Jubilee #Holbeck

Running through the programme for the #Jubilee concert we’ll be doing in Holbeck on the 5th of June - wall to wall crowd pleasers (we hope!) 🎼🎵🎶 🫅🏼
We dodged (got stuck in!) football traffic on the way in, and we will be stuck in it again on the way home too, but we are here and working hard on our #PromInTheCastle pieces 🎼🎵🎶
Tonight’s rehearsal for @PonteCastle has had pirates 🏴‍☠️and a bat 🦇 so far 😁 The programme for the #PromInTheCastle is epic and we’re really looking forward to being back there 🎼🎵🎶

“Strings, do you remember that epiphany, that revelatory moment from last week? No?” #accents #ConductorQuotes

(We’re doing #Brahms. It’s fab 😁)
A #ConductorQuotes moment - “the semiquavers are supposed to sound like you’re tickling someone …” they don’t though 🙊
Staring @JulMontgomery @AidanEdwards39 #KamilBien @martinlamb The @WYSOLeeds will be conducted by @HHconductor and the production will be directed by @davidward89

We have a couple of concerts pencilled in - it’s too early to mention the C-word but we are playing some C-word music..! 🎅🏼 ☃️🎄 (and being rewarded with #Brahms1 which we’ll be doing in Spring)

Nick has been incredibly complimentary this evening, so no #ConductorQuotes - instead here is a photo from his perspective taken last week #WelcomeBackWYSO 🎼🎵🎶
