A brief education - every £ spent in a large supermarket leaves the local community the moment it is spent. LIDL’s owner is German. Local economies sending money to Germany doesn’t help that community.
It is the most fundamentally basic economics.
Lots of people coming down hard on the decision not to build a new Lidl in Bath. Supermarkets kill high streets. And the profits don’t stay in the community as they would with local businesses. If you’re ok with this, fine.
Complained to the @financialombuds about a credit card company. Ombudsman found in favour of the card company without even asking for their explanation. Hugely biased. Trustpilot rating of one. No wonder! Pointless waste of time.
