Republicans got wiped out and somehow the Sticker Mule guy, who made a rap album called “Thank You President Trump” and gifted Trump a bronze statue of himself, is headed to Congress. That’s fucking hilarious.

I was really young when the Nintendo (NES) came out, so I recently tried playing some of those games again for nostalgia’s sake. Today’s games ease you in. Here’s how to jump. Here’s a little health. You died? That’s okay, you’re right where you left off. Nintendo was like, you’re six? Here’s three lives. That turtle throws hammers. Go fuck yourself.

I like Daniel Dennett. I read From Bacteria to Bach and Back and liked it a lot. Could follow it pretty well. Then I read Darwin’s Dangerous Idea, which was a little harder, but mostly I was still on board. Now I’m reading Consciousness Explained and half the time I have no idea what the fuck he’s talking about. At this rate, one more book and I won’t be able to read.

Letting Vivek’s concession go to voicemail is beast mode.
Vivek Ramaswamy concedes. “It is a tough night for us here in Ohio.” He said he left Acton a voicemail and wished her well. “It was a tough race. It was bitter, at times, in both directions.”

I always wonder if everybody at CNN hates Scott Jennings. Like, do they invite everyone but him out for drinks after work.

Moral question for you. Someone knowingly buys fentanyl and dies after taking it. The person who sold it to them is also struggling with addiction and made the sale to pay for their own use. Should the seller be held responsible for the death, or only for the sale? How much should the buyer’s choice and the seller’s addiction matter to that judgment?

This is a reminder that 100 Grand is still the most underrated chocolate bar of all time. It should be in everyone’s top 5.

To my MAGA friends: Enjoy this weekend. Seriously. After Tuesday, your movement is finished. That feeling of powerlessness you remember? It’s coming back. And you’ll spend years looking back at this moment, furious that you had power—and flushed it down Trump’s golden toilet. Never to return

Avicii might be the funniest artist of all time. People will say with their whole chest he's fhe greatest EDM artist ever meanwhile he exclusively produces facebook lifehack music
This is what it sounded like to fall in love with EDM 15 years ago. On July 23, 2011 Avicii released “levels” on the main stage of TomorrowLand

A lot of philosophy can justly be reduced to: ”I have invented a question which puts me in a bind because I am a massive autist. This question must thus be incredibly important for mankind.”

Calling things “x-phobic” seems like a rhetorical trick to me. It borrows credibility from a medical diagnosis and suggests someone is afraid of something when they might just dislike it. I’m not defending prejudice or saying it’s okay to dislike people for who they are. Just saying it feels like there’s a judgment built into the word before the conversation even starts.

Scott Jennings is the obvious pick for press secretary. He’s the only person besides Leavitt with both the rhetorical skills and the complete absence of shame required to publicly dickride whatever line he’s handed. If he’s not hired, it’s probably because someone in the room said, “But secretary is a woman’s job.”

First of all, based. Second of all, this seems like a really overly confident thing for Grok to say as fact.
Replying to @GuntherEagleman
There is no afterlife, no cosmic justice, and no inherent purpose. Consciousness ends at death in an indifferent universe that will outlast every human concern.

He won’t. Admitting he was wrong and apologizing would go against everything modern conservatism rewards.
I want to know when @nicksortor will issue a public apology for lying about @jamestalarico?

Religion teaches people from an early age that beliefs can be accepted without convincing evidence and are worth defending anyway. I wonder how much that shapes the epistemic standards they later bring to politics and other areas of their life.
