At least @nasiphim overalls aren’t brand spanking new. You can see they’ve been used and washed. No performative nonsense.
Love Your Street Campaign
Today, we took the Love Your Street campaign brigade to Kliptown, Soweto. We were joined by the team from the City of Johannesburg led by Executive Mayor of CoJ Cllr Dada Morero
The work to clean the streets, clearing illegal dumping sites, cutting grass, clearing illegal dumping sites, and converting unused opening spaces into useful community spaces continued.
Tomorrow, we are going back into Kliptown to continue this work and for community engagements about illegal dumping, improved refuse removal services etc. We have also committed to mobilise an all of government and society approach to the revitalisation of the Kliptown Square - the Kliptown Square is too important to the history, present and future of this country to be allowed to rescind to a state of disrepair.
I am grateful to the community activist Ricardo who became my personal chaperone today whilst reminding me of the need to also support sparks of hope.
Simultaneously, we also rolled-out the Love Your Street Campaign in Gqeberha in partnership with the Nelson Mandela Bay led by Executive Mayor Cllr Babalwa Lobishe. The full schedule of the week-long Love Your Street campaign in Gqeberha can be found on the GCIS socials
We invite you to join us in the Campaign to “Love Your Street” across every province by:
• Stopping littering
• Stopping illegal dumping
• Make public spaces feel safe especially for women and children.
Love Your Street campaign does not absolve municipalities of their responsibility to provide reliable refuse removal, tackling illegal dumping and cutting overgrown grass in our neighbourhoods and CBDs.
It is your partnership, so please join the movement - let’s love our streets. Loved streets are crime-free streets

I don't think it is a problem of "more". Most guys who get R30k wouldn't mind a woman who earns R40k. There is very little lifestyle exposure differences you two have.
The issue comes when she is earning R100k and you earn R30k. The R130k lifestyle you will both live is dependent on her.
Not many men and women know how to manage that dynamic. Especially with our patriarchal society. Even if you find the most woke girl, we are still products of our environment. And we don't live in isolation.
