Weatherling 1.7 is here. Save your favorite weather as a template and share it with a link, watch grass grow along your windows, and give every effect a color of your own. Plus more Lings to find.

My Mac app Burly said "macOS 13 or later" but I only shipped Apple Silicon builds, so on Intel Macs it wouldn't even open. Fixed in 1.9.0: it's universal now, and background update checks are off until you turn them on.

Burly 1.9.0 is a universal app. One download now runs natively on Intel and Apple Silicon Macs, macOS 13 Ventura through macOS 26 Tahoe. Same picker, profiles, private windows, and bypass. Background update checks are now opt-in.

Burly 1.8.0 adds Tor Browser to the picker. Click a link on your Mac, choose Tor, and skip the copy and paste. It works in private mode too.

Check out the new custom colors for rain, snow, and all the other elements. Quick-enable a trippy scene using the Techno template!

Shipped Weatherling 1.7. My favorite part: grass now grows along the tops of your windows, and the rain helps it grow.
You can also save a scene as a template, share it as a link, and recolor any effect.
