As someone who's paid $25M+ to creators over the last 5 years, I can guarantee you one thing: Many creators are sabotaging themselves. Working with bad brands. Shilling products they don't believe in. Taking deals for a quick paycheck at the expense of their long-term reputation. And most importantly, having absolutely no strategy for monetizing the audience they've spent years building. Think about how absurd that is. A creator can have millions of followers, generate more impressions than a Fortune 500 company, and still have no idea how to negotiate a commercial agreement. Being a creator is a legitimate profession. We need to normalize treating it like one. Athletes have agents. Actors have managers. Musicians have entire teams negotiating their commercial interests. Why should creators be any different? Your audience is an asset. Your reputation is an asset. Your distribution is an asset. And every brand partnership either increases or decreases the value of those assets. The creators who understand this will build generational wealth. The ones who don't will spend their most valuable years selling their influence one sponsored post at a time. The next generation of billion-dollar media companies will be built around individuals, and we intend to be at the center of it.
