Labour and the Tories. Two sides of the same coin.
🚨 NEW: Tory MP calls Robert Jenrick a "Neanderthal" for backing cuts to £6 Billion spent on foreign aid.
• Tory MP Andrew Mitchell has described Jenrick as a “Neanderthal” in the House of Commons over his support for reducing the UK’s foreign aid budget.
• The response came following a question from Jenrick to Labour's Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband. "How would he justify to working people and pensioners spending £6 billion on foreign aid whilst freezing the tax-free person allowance and cutting the state pension?"
• Miliband backed up the Tory, by replying with "I would say to him, I think the answer came from the person who used to be in his party, the party he used to be in, which is that the money we spend on foreign aid is absolutely about preventing the problems from elsewhere in the world coming here."

I earn £100 grand a year.
I have a detached house. 2 cars and my wife is a full time home maker.
I can just about afford this. I probably couldn’t afford the house I own if I was buying for the first time today.
My salary puts me in the top 5% of earners in the UK.
Top 5% to have a similar standard of living to Homer Simpson.
That is a disgrace.
We have a flatter salary distribution than Soviet Russia and the highest taxes and borrowing costs we’ve seen in generations.
Success is almost impossible because our tax system means hard work makes you a stressed out tax cow, not wealthy and certainly not free.
We need something radical.
Less state.
More family.
Less handouts.
More reward for risk.
Instead. Tomorrow, Labour will offer another batch of policies which will send one message to aspirational Brits: why bother.
I read a piece in the FT this week about the price of being middle class in Britain now and it said a couple earning £436,000 combined take home £216,000. That’s a crazy amount of tax, and it doesn't include VAT on purchases, council tax, stamp duty or other taxes (I think does include pension contributions). I can’t stop thinking about it.

MPs HECKLE me as I suggest cuts to foreign aid.
Why is it so controversial to demand we put the British people first?

I really want to let this go and put the whole nasty experience behind me - I even shut down my account but people need to understand who these people are. The disgusting abuse that I continue to receive day in and day out from RESTORE BRITAIN and the misogynistic scumbags within the party is just becoming unbearable. Now even their branch managers like this ⬇️ are joining in.. a Navy Veteran no less. @JoeLayton96 shame on you. Leave me and my family alone !!!!! @RupertLowe10 ie Alistair- sort these boys out or I will do the same as Michelle Bass. We will simply not tolerate this behaviour anymore! @claire_adams694 @ThatAlexWoman

Shame I would have loved to see Ben try and explain his claims in court.
Bitter and timid Ben is the new name.
In an interview with Paul Thorpe broadcast on 11 May 2026, I alleged that Mr Harborne had fixed the 2019 General Election result by conspiring with the then Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, and the then leader of the Brexit Party, Nigel Farage, to ensure a majority for Mr Johnson's party by agreeing to pay each of them £1 million, which he duly did in November 2022, in return for the Brexit Party standing down all 317 of its candidates for Conservative-held seats. I made that allegation in reliance on information I had been given. I now accept that the information did not provide a sufficient basis for so serious an allegation, and I should not have made it. I withdraw that allegation and apologise to Mr. Harborne for the distress caused.

Mao Zedong is under any single social metric a dictator. Not a single popular election, single government party and lifetime leadership. Not even taking into account the millions of deaths under his reign.

Labour and the Tories opened the floodgates to millions of migrants from across the world.
Reform will achieve net negative migration, deport every illegal migrant and reverse this madness.
End of.

The governments plan to solve the cost of living is to give you an extra 40p a week. Only if you buy chocolate and gherkins regularly.
Burnham is pathetic.
