So, my hot take is that we're not seeing Angelechy hits this list. Their thought is likely that it's thriving because we're in a handtrap format & as a deck it doesn't play into most handtraps other than Ash & Ogre. Breaker format likely more threatening to it.

I love engine heavy approaches, which is part of why I love Fairy Tail pile. The ROLAD & Elf Note piles feel bad to play into because the power level of the starters & endboard pieces are so high. Floodgates, handrips & knowledge, multiple negates, etc.

Engine heavy deck are just so much more fun than 20 HT things yeah. People just get mad when their opponent uses that engine to do things

Also throw in a price complaint because what are we doing here Konami with DMOD engine? Like seriously, wtf. Can’t even just use Curtain & Gaze to make Dragoon cause I’m on job search atm and can’t justify the $65+ for one. And god forbid I want a larger engine.

And yes, aware Fairy Tail has its own sins with Aeon access & Village plays. Fully support a Village ban, & will note those Spellcaster locks often prevent turn 1 Aeon plays. Feel as a whole FT is more where piles should be vs ROLAD but that’s admittedly personal bias lands.

Also wish FT had better Fuwa and Droll plays TuT. If don’t have Ball, Lacrima, and Super Poly can be totally rough. But with ROLAD I’ve gotten Spell Cancellered under Droll before, which is nuts.
