NORTHWESTERN 42, RUTGERS 14. FINAL.
Northwestern is bowl-eligible with its sixth win in seven games this season.
That was easy.
Aidan Chiles runs right on a QB keeper and takes it 37 yards for a touchdown.
NU 42, RU 14
Touchdown, Chiles to Wilde.
Northwestern 35, Rutgers 14. That conld conclude the competitive portion of our game with 10: 32 to go.
This was looking like a laugher just a few minutes ago, but Rutgers is within two scores at 28-14 as the fourth quarter starts.
No reason to panic, but like the Ball State game, the Cats took their foot off of their opponent's throat.
And boom, Antwan Raymond scores on a 46-yard run.
Tackling and run fits are gonna be a focus for the defense after this one. That's the third 30-plus yard run by Rutgers in the third quarter.
There it is, Aidan Chiles's first interception of the season. It comes in the second half of the seventh game, and he has 19 total touchdowns to offset it.
Komolafe stays inbounds and takes it into the end zone for a 33-yard TD.

NU 28 RU 3
Northwestern is once again behind the chains in the Rutgers' 30-40 zone. They came up empty on their last two drives into RU territory.
It's second-and-16. We'll see if they can get a score out of this drive before the half.
