4. Build Your Team: Assess your weaknesses and seek individuals with the skills and talents to fill those gaps. Don't hesitate to ask for help; people who understand your goals will often support you.

All of this became possible because I had a clear purpose in life. This purpose was my driving force, and my belief in myself grew stronger with it.

A YouGov poll of registered voters has James Talarico leading Paxton 51-43% in the U.S. Senate race, an 8-point advantage, up from 5 points in the previous poll.
In the governor's race, Democrat Hinojosa leads incumbent Abbott 49-46%, after Abbott led by 2 points previously.
Is the polling off or is the blue wave heading to Texas?

In January 2021 he went on Good Morning Britain to talk people out of vaccine hesitancy.
Five months later his father, a fit 73-year-old and honorary VP of the BMA, died of a sudden cardiac arrest.
Dr. Aseem Malhotra just told a US Senate hearing that this was the moment he did a full U-turn.
What gets me isn’t only the claim. It’s the trajectory. This was the establishment’s messenger. Now he calls himself “a grieving, vaccine-injured doctor,” and what he’s asking for is open scientific debate without career punishment.
You can think he’s right, or think he’s connecting dots that don’t connect. But what he describes happening after he spoke (the UK PM telling Parliament he’d said all vaccines cause cancer, which he says he never claimed) shows how hard this conversation still is to have.
His ask: a public apology to the vaccine-injured and bereaved.

What does a man who spent seventy five years living in his father’s tent have to do with the question you have been avoiding about your own life? In this lecture, Jordan Peterson works through the story of Abraham and arrives at the hardest passage in scripture, the moment a father is told to take his only son up a mountain and offer him as a burnt offering. The atheists call it proof of a monstrous God. Peterson thinks they have the story upside down, and getting to why takes him through a savings account, a sports team, a statue Michelangelo carved at twenty four, and the thing every mother does on the first day of school. Then a police officer asks him for one piece of advice, and the answer takes six minutes and costs Moses the promised land. By the end there is a calculation involving twenty minutes, fifty repetitions, and the two percent of your life you could fix this week. What Abraham is actually offered turns out not to be faith in the conventional sense at all, but a trade: everything you are comfortable with, in exchange for something you already know you want more.
