One thing that has been a bugbear (if you will) of AD&D 1e is psionics. They are, on the surface, not a bad system. Or rather, they are not a bad concept. They are however something I feel that is not as well implemented as it might be. Let's discuss.
(Nota bene: if you don't like psionics please don't shout me down that you don't like psionics - I get it, they're divisive.)
Psionic powers were first officially introduced into Original D&D with the release of Supplement III: Eldritch Wizardry. This brought in Demons, Devils, and a certain range of powerful artifacts, and a few other monsters. Psionics were the big thing, and required a different way of thinking. Powers were divided into "Attack/Defense" modes and Disciplines which were spell-like powers a psionic might have, in addition to the aforementioned modes.

A local D&D Fighter has died after ignoring repeated warnings from fellow players that his choice of weapons and armor was mathematically inferior.
“He wanted to use a flail because he thought it was cool,” explained one party member. “We showed him the damage calculations. We sent him three build guides. He just kept talking about his PC's backstory, which was mostly about his dad’s forge or something.”
The group had repeatedly urged him to reconsider, pointing out that his refusal to optimize was making the game less enjoyable for everyone else.
“He said he was just trying to have fun,” recalled another player. “I don't think he understood how selfish that was.”
The group has since agreed to let him play whatever PC he wants, provided they approve the build first.

LA+1のテンプレートで、DR8/Adamantine、暗視、AC+2、burrow移動、アースストライク、+2Str/+4Con/-2Int/-2Wis/-2Chaは強すぎる。
earthサブタイプが貰えるので、Final Strikeも習得可能なのが嬉しい。
コボルドにこれを付けて自爆技を覚えさせれば低CR暗殺部隊が簡単に！
