Another awesome evening of Virtua Fighter! ^^
Got a Shun mirror match with @zhongqiu_zhu, cheeky & chaotic matches with @Myke623 sensei, talk about #VFCrossroads, and watched clips of last night's VF LATAM online tournament hosted by @SoyElKai (congratulations to @ISTheRyzing getting top place with his Akira/Jacky combo)!
Shoutout to c-d and Luke sensei for joining in the VC, to G_raver, Toto, Gameru, Ryzing & @jimmypkg for dropping chats in the livestream! Play more VF everyone!

VF6 is reminding me why I started fighting back in the day.
Just weird bc Tekken (Bruce) had me sparring everyday. VF6 has that same spirit I haven't felt in decades.

New British TV ad, coming to a station near you November 2026.
ALT a picture parody of the old british anti piracy adverts, in this instance mocking the new UK pornography laws.

5 whole years! Crazy work. I've been too busy supporting my locals to do anything flashy, but I will share that I've been cooking on a new skin for the wiki that will come out soon.
Thanks for all the support, see y'all in another 5.
5 years ago today, SuperCombo.gg was originally launched. The successor to the Shoryuken Forums and Wikis, the website currently hosts several fighting game fan-contributed wikis alongside genre-related articles highlighting games from popular to niche.

This is so cool. How do you know so much about all this @WireManFGC ? Why does your French sound authentic? What is your phone number?
No but for real, this is a really cool way to revisit and get more out of that amazing teaser they showed.

This Information about G input resetting the command input queue I believe is the same since Final Showdown. Wording might be confusing, but hard to put into the right words. #VF5REVOWS
- G single button input during the animation of a move up to 1 frame after the completion of animation will cancel previous input.
- Pertaining to multi-button presses that includes G button. If attack button(s) was released earlier than G during the recovery of a move, but G button was held pressed after completion of move’s recovery, the attack will not execute.

I got this dog figurine at LAG! I believe it’s based on one of Lion’s items. For those who have no idea what this is, SEGA added this Corgi (or maybe Shiba Inu) backpack for Lion in VF5R, and I used to have him wear it back then!
Thank you @injiji_VF 🙏

Every time they show more of Crossroads, it somehow manages to outdo itself.
Take your time. Cook well 🍲

We had an interesting discussion on the Community’s @vfdiscord about one of the concepts @Homestay_Akira discussed on the panel.
This was the concept of seeking an ultimate opportunity—even if not totally secured/guaranteed—over a punish he normally would go for otherwise.
LAG (L.A. Gathering) has had a profound impact on NA Virtua Fighter players who attended.
Interacting with elites like @Homestay_Akira and @Jeanogre the players felt the concepts and were awed by peak performance to aspire to!
It was not oppressive, IT WAS INSPIRATIONAL 🙏🏼❤️

@LAGVF was very special to me I just loved it! I sadly missed the age of NYG's so being able to attend this was what I needed. I always get filled with joy and happiness when I go to events (salty too). It is constant reminder as why VF made a positive impact on my life.....
