I’m actually open to the idea of 40-minute games now There are definitely some things I don’t like about it (makes the bench less valuable, records and per game averages will be messed up), but given that owners will never agree to shorten the season it might be the best option

Gonna talk about injury stuff on the show, but I think it's more simple than the convoluted overuse stuff people bring up. Basically, we're asking NBA players to weigh more, be bigger, stronger and faster than ever, and then we're asking them to play at breakneck pace. (1/2)

Been super busy with stuff the last few days so I’ve missed the last couple games. Gonna try to catch up this week and get an episode out soon🤝

His athletic and physical development has been crazy

What more can be said about the Kyshawn evolution, this was supposed to be a cool shooter who became an elite defender and now he's an auto paint touch throwing down lobs with his head at the rim What a fucking ball player

Would like to see them incorporate some more guard to guard screens in the future with Trae/Tre/Kyshawn. Thought they got good looks tonight when they got into those sets.

Overall just a really fun game. So happy to finally have a team that is competitive. 1-0 feels good

Looks like a pretty good crowd in Washington tonight. A city starved for actual basketball.

I’ll post a thread in a bit going over all my in-depth thoughts from the game but I just wanna say that was the most fun I’ve had watching a Wizards basketball game in about a decade So excited for the rest of this season

His drop coverage positioning was unreal, his rebounding was great, finished on the interior, and brought a ton of energy. Shoutout DeAndre

Just now starting the game (recorded it so I wouldn’t miss anything) but before I do that I just wanna say thanks to all of y’all. Truly means the world to me that people want to hear my thoughts about basketball and the Wizards. I love this sport. Appreciate y’all🤝

Jayden has to be better situationally but it’s insane to me that David Blough has somehow escaped most of the criticism for this kind of stuff. Feels like the Commanders are clearly a poorly coached offensive team. Jayden never had these issues with Kliff running the offense.

In the last two weeks Jayden Daniels has) - Blew the game last week by sliding and not knowing the situation - Threw a ball out of bounds of 4th down - Took a very costly timeout in a combeack effort that left them out of time in the end. We have to have a conversation about his situational awareness right now ...
