was on my way to check out a bookstore I’ve never been to and ‘accidentally’ ran into an art exhibit owned by a black man named Steve. He’s an international travel photographer whose personal gallery consists of African prints he’s taken over the last 10 years… speaking of Ashè, alignment, and allowing the spirit to work through you. This work made me so emotional. I love when art leaves you with a question. But more than that this exhibit reminded me to:
1. Find more beauty in what exists around you. that’s where true joy is rooted.
2. Stop asking questions you don’t really need answers to… we will die never knowing or understanding many things. Embrace what is true.
3. Once you become comfortable being uncomfortable, especially financially… spirit brings you purpose AND security in one. You don’t have to choose between the two.
4. Stars DO still cover the night sky beautifully, even in the city. Lol. where I’m from in Philly, you barely see them anymore at all… (I bought that print of the starry sky just to remember it).

I thought it was done, my daughter said it was missing something, a darker orange yhat I didn't have in paints, and she said maybe more detail.
Had darker orange in colored pencils and used a pen to add some shading
Definitely happier with this
