Farewell Norman, our longest-serving Drum Major, founding member and lifelong friend. A true William King legend. 💔
Today we Remember David Walker on the Anniversary of his tragic Death.
David joined the band aged 18 as a flautist. He died on 11th August ‘77 as a result of a hit and run accident.
It was our privilege to form a Guard of Honour during David’s funeral.

The Fountain has lost one of its strongest characters in William Temple. A bandsman, member of the Loyal Orders and a man with a deep knowledge and love of his community. Willie stood firmly by his principles and was always up for a debate. A great loss to the Fountain
