Step into the magic of the season with an unforgettable Christmas concert brought to you by violinist Grace Shepherd. Grace will be accompanied on piano by the Cathedral’s very own Assistant Director of Music, Nicholas Freestone, with whom she has enjoyed several wonderful collaborations in the past.
Grace enjoys a busy and varied freelance career working with some of the UK's leading orchestras, including the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. She was recently awarded her Master of Studies in Music Performance from the University of Oxford.
Grace and Nick would be delighted to see you at the concert for a heartwarming start to the festive season where you’ll be transported by the sounds of well-known Christmas classics including The Nutcracker and The Snowman in this beautiful setting!

Would you like to play a special part in protecting this ancient building?
We have recently refreshed our 'Adopt a Piece of History' scheme. This offers the opportunity to adopt one of the Cathedral's historical objects to help with ongoing conservation and maintenance costs.
Objects include sculptures, stained glass and medieval misericords.
Adoptions can make wonderful Christmas gifts (and other occasions) and can include a personal dedication.
Prices start at £25 for a two year adoption.
