International soccer star @KMbappe should not apologize for calling Mao Zedong a dictator. Mao was a dictator, and by orders of magnitude, he did more harm to the Chinese people than a comment from a soccer player ever could. Mao was the leader of the CCP for decades and his dictatorship and disastrous policies killed tens of millions of Chinese people in the Cultural Revolution, the Great Famine, and other atrocities. Involved in the Party from its first national meeting in 1921, Mao is the principal historical figure for a Party that continues his practices of oppression and ideological purges. For decades, the CCP has denied the Chinese people basic human rights including freedom of expression and freedom of religion. These are rights enjoyed by Mbappe and millions of people around the world and Mbappe should exercise this opportunity to tell the horrific truth about Mao’s dictatorship.
The real disgrace in this news story is the companies rushing to apologize so they can continue to do business in China. The CCP is the largest oppressor of the Chinese people and their human rights, and those businesses that work with the CCP help normalize its crushing brutality. reuters.com/business/media-t…

看了原采访，姆巴佩从头到尾都没有提过任何人的名字。
他的原话是「je crois c’est un dictateur chinois」（我觉得是一个中国独裁者），既没有点名毛泽东，也没有明确说自己指的是哪个 meme。
是视频后期制作人自己把他认为对应的 meme 贴了上去，媒体又在文案里擅自给原话加上了「（毛泽东）」的括号注释。

就因为这些媒体的操作，姆巴佩莫名其妙被推上风口浪尖，国内一群粉红直接破口大骂。
有时候真的很无语，明明原视频就在那里，却有媒体非要添油加醋，把自己的解读包装成当事人的原意。

People forced the dictator gimmick on Mbappe, made endless jokes and memes about him being a dictator, and that was all fine? But the moment he laughs at one of those memes and calls an actual dictator a dictator, suddenly everyone draws the line? Get the f*ck out of here!
