The older I get, the more I relate to @lukebelmar’s “I studied bro” Getting good grades in school was easy: study the right answers Business, or really anything in life, works the same way Except nobody hands you the curriculum. You have to figure out what to study and where to look In the Netherlands, we have a saying: “Kijk verder dan je neus lang is” Meaning: Look beyond what’s right in front of you. Think beyond the obvious Most people are looking for better answers to the same questions The real advantage is knowing which questions nobody else is asking Curiosity is the starting point. Creative research is the edge

One of the smartest long-term moves is turning your knowledge into uniquely named frameworks: • Alex Hormozi's C.L.O.S.E.R. • Russell Brunson's Hook, Story, Offer • Gary Vee's Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook People can learn the same information from 100 different sources. But once they start using YOUR terminology to explain a concept, your framework becomes how they think about it. And every time they use it, they're reinforcing your brand without you having to do a thing.

Why you should chase BIGGER: It's easier to achieve 10% of a $1M/month goal Than to achieve 100% of a $50k/month goal There's this psychological concept called self-efficacy, developed by Albert Bandura People tend to set goals based on what they BELIEVE they're capable of, not necessarily what they're actually capable of If you're making $5k/month, $50k/month feels ambitious $1M/month feels so far out of reach you won't even consider it And that's the trap You're letting your current circumstances dictate what you think is possible This subconsciously determines the opportunities you look for, the decisions you make, and the problems you're willing to solve Think bigger, and you'll start looking for bigger solutions

It was never Skool vs Whop
Whop has raised $200M in Series D funding at a $5.1B valuation, backed by @sequoia and @shopify. It really feels like we are barely touching the tip of the iceberg in a market larger than anyone can imagine. We first launched Whop as a better way for us to sell sneaker bots, one of the most niche types of desktop software out there. Total TAM? Probably $20,000 per day. Who cares, tiny market. But, what people discounted is the idea that there were actually 70,000 other markets exactly like that one. Beyond the investment itself, I am especially excited to welcome legendary silicon valley investor @dougleone to our board of directors. Doug and the sequoia team are nothing but a brilliant, resourceful, and principled group of people. My co-founder Cameron and I started building on Shopify when we were 13 years old. Shopify is one of the most impactful all-in-one cloud ecosystems ever created; @tobi has pioneered modern entrepreneurship the way we know it and we are thrilled to have him in our corner. We have a tenet at Whop to be the dumbest in the room and I am very grateful that this has recently become a lot easier. We are focused on markets, scale economies, and progressive media. If that is up your alley, please message me directly. The $200M raised will support our expansion as we build economic infrastructure for the next century, continuing on our mission of delivering everyone an income.

If you're selling money (biz-op, lead gen etc) 75% of your youtube titles should be centered around money: "How [Specific Strategy/Skill] Made Me [$X] [Achieving Desired Outcome]" "The EXACT [Strategy/Method/System] That Made Me [$X] in the Last [Timeframe]" "I Made [$X] [Doing X] and Learned This" Yet surprisingly few people actually do this

Going viral generally only works when you're selling to a broad B2C market If your ICP is agency owners doing $100k+/mo, going viral with the masses often does more harm than good

Caught up with an old friend from high school in Bali He started an AI agency earlier this year Been stuck at ~$20k/month since June Asked him what's holding him back Bro told me about 4 different problems Asked him what he's actually done to fix them Couldn't give me ONE clear answer 4 months of absolutely ZERO progress But making just enough to rent a nice villa in Bali and get comfortable enough to lose all urgency You're no longer broke enough to be desperate And suddenly all those big goals you had don't seem so urgent anymore That's the trap you MUST avoid

The longer I run info offers, the less I care about month-to-month revenue fluctuations You do $200k one month and think $300k is next You do $120k the next and start questioning everything Suddenly, changing the entire strategy starts sounding like a good idea Both are just part of the game The biggest mistake is letting short-term results dictate long-term decisions

met a high ticket sales coach in Colombia 21, hit his first $5k month, quit his job to "escape the matrix" had one good month, selling B2C, still paying off his own mentorship in monthly installments told me he doesn't close anymore because he's focused on scaling his coaching biz his biggest achievement this year was getting 11 students to put "Remote High Ticket Closer" in their bios he forwards his students' questions to his own coach i wish him the best
met a german girl in bali. 27, travelling solo, quit her job to “find herself.” no house, no savings, still paying off her student loans. told me she doesn’t want kids because she wants to see the world first. her biggest achievement this year was watching the sunset in 8 different countries. instagram sold her a lifestyle she can’t afford. i wish her the best.

Don't try to be the smartest person in your niche. There are 1,000 other people teaching the exact same things. Information is a commodity now. Your experiences make you different. Your stories make you memorable. Your opinions make people stick around. Anyone can teach what you know. Not everyone can think the way you do. Give people a reason to follow YOU.

worst advice I read on here is: ''cut off everyone in your life not on the same path as you.'' when I got kicked out at 15 - it was my OG's who gave me a sofa. when my mum died and I wasn't in the country - it was my OG's giving grandma groceries and seeing if she's ok. when i've been out, and people swung at me in the club - it was my og's that swung back with me. cutting off those that'd break through doors for you, because they don't want to hustle online all day is why they'll never have anyone real in real life. a loyal friend is always more valuable than a business acquaintance just trying to make a bag from you.

Everyone has this one friend always complaining about politics The government is corrupt. The economy is fucked. Everything is getting worse They'll spend hours telling you how screwed you are, but never tell you what to actually do about it Brother, STFU The solution is always to become financially free. That would solve 90% of the problems you’re talking about AND if you really care about the issues you're talking about, go build an audience, make yourself known, do something about it All this dooming 24/7 is just a cope An excuse to blame everything and everyone but yourself

Funny how 90% of marketing agencies claim they're experts at getting clients for other businesses. Yet can't figure out how to get clients for their own.
