While we're all a little shellshocked recently, we in the @WritingExtra are still hosting our "Step into September" event starting with me as your host tomorrow morning.

Dear #WritingCommmunity...
Do any of you also have issues with characters who chat non-stop when you're busy and then, once you're free to write, pull a silent sulk because you didn't pay enough attention to them earlier?

While I didn’t get any technical words in today for #writeextra today, I did get some planning done! @WritingExtra

Looking for #JuNoWriMo? We’re the same writing group with a brand new name, The Writing Extravaganza! If you’re wondering if anything is changing in June, the short answer is no - we are still holding our annual writing challenge event, now called Journey On June: 4 Weeks, 40K!

I re-read a book by an author I read quite often. It was like reconnecting with old friends who used to live next door. Maybe because they were characters who used to live in my head. If nothing else, I can write stories that make myself cry and laugh. 🤣

Oh, I like this #5amwritersclub. From Amy Tan → “My writing often contains souvenirs of the day - a song I heard, a bird I saw - which I then put into the novel.” Your thoughts? #AmyTanQuote #amwriting

But in April I started joining writing sprints almost daily and since then I've written close to 100,000 words and am almost finished with the book. So helpful and motivating! #amwriting #writerslift #romanceauthor #writingfantasy #writerscommunity #writingsprints

Good morning! Here’s the view out my window. Peak foliage time has passed, but still so much color in the trees, and in the hills. Now back to writing! 🍁✍️

#NaNoWriMo possibility
Part 1 - childhood friends fall in love
Part 2 - life with the baby
Part 3 - brother has to raise the baby
I’m thinking each part would be a stand alone novella. I’ve tested up in some parts but in my head is way better than on paper.
