I fell in love with Cristiano Ronaldo during his Real Madrid days. I watched him score unbelievable long-range goals when people insisted he could only score tap-ins. I watched him top the Champions League assist charts when people called him selfish. I watched him score over 100 headed goals when people claimed he was nothing more than a penalty merchant. I watched him give his teammates their flowers after winning Portugal's first major international trophy when people accused him of making everything about himself. I watched assists become an increasingly important metric when Cristiano was dominating the goalscoring charts season after season and Messi needed another way to match his numbers. I witnessed broadcasters abandon La Liga coverage and turn their attention to Serie A following Cristiano's move to Italy. I watched La Liga's global appeal take a hit after his departure from Spain. I watched him win Ballon d'Or awards despite facing an establishment that often seemed determined to deny him the recognition he deserved. And perhaps most importantly, I witnessed how Cristiano Ronaldo's existence pushed Lionel Messi to become an even better player. Their rivalry elevated football to heights we may never witness again. There will never be another Cristiano Ronaldo. Everywhere you went, you conquered. Everywhere you played, you made history. From Portugal to England. From England to Spain. From Spain to Italy. You conquered leagues, Europe and the world. You defied expectations, silenced critics, shattered records and turned the impossible into something millions of children dared to dream about. You inspired generations. You taught the world that talent may open doors, but discipline, sacrifice, resilience and an unbreakable belief in yourself can take you beyond imagination. Thank you for the memories, the inspiration and the privilege of witnessing your greatness. You weren't just part of football history, Cristiano. You were one of the reasons an entire generation fell in love with football. There will never be another like you. 🐐

Despot Uhuru Kenyatta, the chief plunderer of public resources, abductor, torturer and mass murderer, is on the 2027 ballot through 3 proxies and projects: 1. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka. 2. Edwin Sifuna. 3. Fred Okengo Matiang’i. Despot William Ruto is on the ballot by himself and through one proxy and project: 1. Ndindi Nyoro. Chief Tribalist Rigathi Gachagua wants to vie for president, and if blocked by the courts, he has chosen one proxy and project: 1. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka. Kenyans must stop the silly neocolonial games of recycling bandits. The 2027 general election is part of the organized system of deluding people that they have power to change their leaders while the anti-people system is solidified. My suggestion is that we overhaul the entire system, retire the bandits by force, repossess the TRILLIONS of PUBLIC RESOURCES they have plundered and punish them to the fullest extent of the law. Unless that’s done, 2027 will just be another theatre for RECYCLING BANDITS. Another lying, stealing and brutal Uhuru Kenyatta, William Ruto and Rigathi Gachagua will continue using Kenya as their PRIVATE ESTATE and 99.9% of the people will remain their slaves. Stop engaging in futile imperialist exercises which have gone on for 63 years as the lives of the overwhelming majority of the population worsen. Telling the truth is a revolutionary act. #SocialismIsTheSolution #RevolutionNow

🚨Ruud van Nistelrooy on Lisandro Martínez speaking out against Manchester United’s hierarchy: 🗣️ Ruud van Nistelrooy: “I was tuned in after the match to see if anyone would come out for an interview and speak about what was happening at Manchester United. Then Martínez came out. The moment I saw his face, I thought, ‘This lad has something to say.’ And when he started speaking, I understood why. Peter asked him: ‘Lisandro, do you believe the people running Manchester United need to take more responsibility for the situation the club is in?’ Martinez reply was straight to the point ‘We have responsibility as players, of course. But you cannot keep changing managers and bringing in new players while the same problems continue. At some point, you have to look at the people making the decisions.’ And I thought, he has a point. I spent five years at Manchester United. I scored goals, won trophies and experienced what it meant to play under Sir Alex Ferguson. But I also experienced the other side of that club. In my final months, things broke down between me and the manager. I was left out of the League Cup final, tensions grew, and eventually I left for Real Madrid. I had scored 150 goals for United, but that didn’t mean I was bigger than the club or that I could behave however I wanted. I later admitted I had made mistakes, and Ferguson and I eventually made peace. But that experience taught me something: when things go wrong at a big club, the way problems are handled matters just as much as the problems themselves. You need strong leadership, honest conversations and people willing to take responsibility. You cannot allow issues to build up until the only way they come out is through frustration, arguments or the media. And that is why I want to hear from Bruno Fernandes. He is the captain. He sees what happens in that dressing room every day. He knows the frustration of losing games and watching the same mistakes happen again. So why is Martínez the one coming out to say these things? Bruno doesn’t have to agree with every word Martínez says, but I expect him to speak honestly about the direction of the club. Being captain is not just about demanding more from your teammates when they make mistakes. It also means having the courage to address the bigger issues. And Michael Carrick needs to be honest, too. I respect Michael, but if he believes something is wrong, he should say it. You cannot keep giving safe answers while the supporters are asking serious questions. Look at my own experience. I had to accept my part in what happened, and Ferguson had his own decisions to make. That is football. Nobody should be above criticism, whether you’re a player, a manager or a director. I’m not saying Martínez is right about everything. He still has to perform on the pitch. But instead of attacking him for speaking, perhaps United should listen to what he’s actually saying. Because how many times can this club change managers, spend millions on new players and promise a fresh start before somebody finally asks whether the people making the decisions are getting it right? I left Manchester United with lessons I will never forget. One of them is this: you can have all the talent in the world, but if the people running a football club cannot be honest with each other, sooner or later, everything starts to fall apart.”
