Introducing XWine1, an Xbox One translation layer for Windows PCs.
Currently six games are fully playable, with others reaching logos and in-game. More news to come!
For anyone saying that we should just use AI, please read this thread

I don't think you can expect anything more than cleaner code, but having advantage was never the idea behind the project anyways, the idea is to research & learn more about the Xbox hardware & software, and by letting the machine do the work for you, you aren't learning anything

If all you want to do is play Forza Horizon 2, not much. Azimuth is focused specifically on Forza games, so it's able to do Forza-specific things without worrying about breaking other games. XWine1 is a general-purpose Xbox One emulator that's intended to be able to run any game.

It's possible to statically recompile games from scratch and run them in XeO3. Here it is running Chaos;Head Love Chu Chu, a game that never got an official Xbox One or PC port.

you need to dump the files of a BC XeO3 game of choice, modify one of the 4 pc bc games by adding the dlls content flash etc files from the xbox one dump without replacing emu.exe and give it kernelx.dll from SlimEra and done, it has to be a XeO3 game dump becuz of the DLLs
In other news, few days ago we made some progress with the Xbox One version of XeO3 ( 🔊 sound on )
With a PC port of XeO3 now available, this work is now deprioritized, but the information obtained from it will improve compatibility with other aspects of the console
By combining Microsoft's recently-released PC port of XeO3 with specific components of XWine1, SlimEra namely, it becomes possible to run dumped backwards-compatible Xbox 360 and Xbox Original games before they see an official PC release, with varying degrees of success
Also a reminder that SlimEra is fully open source:

We have open sourced SlimEra, a slim Win32 reference implementation of select ERA OS DLLs that we use as a base for our ERA implementation
