The man who allegedly pistol-whipped Rick Ross' son thanks 50 Cent after bonding out of jail.
On Wednesday night (Oct. 21), Fif shared a video on Instagram of Don Roberts speaking after being released from jail earlier that day in connection with the alleged assault of Rozay's 21-year-old son, William Roberts III.
"I appreciate everyone who believe in me, my family and friends," Don says in the video. "I'm out and I'm innocent. The Lord know I'm innocent. 50, I appreciate everything you done for me and believing in my innocence. Much love."
50 Cent captioned the post, "I had a strong feeling this brother was innocent, 👀who snitching. 😆 LOL."
Don Roberts was arrested in Daytona Beach on Oct. 16 after being picked out of a police lineup by Ross' son. William claims Don threatened to kill him and struck him over the head with a gun near Bethune-Cookman University on Oct. 11. Once 50 got wind of the situation, he said he would assist in helping Don get out of jail. Clearly a move to get under Rozay's skin. This prompted Ross' child's mother, Tia Kemp, to blast 50.
XXL has reached out to Don Roberts' attorney for comment.

The man who allegedly pistol-whipped Rick Ross' son bonds out of jail after 50 Cent offers to pay his bail.
On Wednesday afternoon (Oct. 21), suspect Don Roberts appeared in court for a custody hearing, where he was granted a $50,000 bail. Roberts was released a few hours later after posting a surety bond. Roberts has spent the last six days in jail after being arrested on Oct. 16.
His release comes a day after 50 Cent said on Instagram that he would bond Roberts out to spite the rapper's nemesis, Rick Ross. It is unclear whether 50 Cent was actually the person who paid for Roberts' release.
Don Roberts was arrested last Friday and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated battery. According to a police report, Rick Ross' son, 21-year-old William Roberts III, was standing on a sidewalk with a woman near the Bethune-Cookman University campus on Oct. 11 when a car pulled up, and the driver, identified as Don Roberts, got out and pointed a gun at William.
Don allegedly threatened to kill William before striking him on the side of the head with the firearm. The incident seems to stem from Don being upset over William being with the woman. William later picked Don out in a police lineup, leading to his arrest.
Big30 maintains his innocence in the Gucci Mane kidnapping case and addresses snitching rumors in a new interview.
On Tuesday (Oct. 20), Perspektives With Bank released a new episode featuring 30, who is currently out on bond after being charged in connection with the alleged robbery and kidnapping of Gucci Mane earlier this year. 30 has pleaded not guilty and is currently awaiting trial. During the interview, he maintained his innocence.
"I feel like it's going to turn out good," 30 told Bank. "We innocent. What they said we did, we didn't do. Don't give a f**k how they look at it or not. What they said we did on their paperwork, we didn't do."
The Memphis rapper also addressed rumors that he got a bond by snitching. 30 says it all came down to a judge not deeming him a threat to the community or a threat to jump bail, and it has nothing to do with any deal he may have made with the government.
"Man, my record was clean all the way up to, you know what I'm saying, right now," he explained. "So, they couldn't paint me as no menace of society or threat to the commercial or flight risk. I don't even got no passport."
Pooh Shiesty, his father, Big30 and six other men have been charged in connection with the Gucci Mane case. Pooh Shiesty has been denied bond. Their trial is scheduled to begin on Feb. 22, 2027.

Lil Durk’s father, Big Durk, claims his son is the only rapper, and the only African American, to ever beat the feds. “Never despair of Allah’s mercy,” he adds, saying anything is possible.
Durk was acquitted on all counts in his federal murder-for-hire case on Sept. 11, but he is not the first rapper to win a federal case. NBA YoungBoy was found not guilty in his federal gun case in 2022, and Real Boston Richey was acquitted of federal gun and drug charges across two trials in 2025 and 2026.
Durk remains in custody and faces a separate federal racketeering trial, which has been pushed to August 2027

Kid Cudi announces he is writing, directing and starring as Jean-Michel Basquiat in Jean, a biopic on the late artist set to begin filming in 2027. 🎬
Cudi made the announcement in a post on Instagram Wednesday (Oct. 21), where he shared that people have been asking him to play the role of the Neo-Expressionist painter, but no films materialized. Cudi decided to take the project into his own hands.
"JEAN. Written, directed and starring me. Filming 2027," he wrote. "For years people have asked me about playing Jean Michel Basquiat in a film. But no project actually came to be. This year, I finally said f**k it, ima write it myself. Did a wardrobe test, got a wig made (this isnt the final just a rough, trust me we gon get it perfect). But I wanted to tease what we been cooking a bit. This one im so proud of and excited about. To write a film about someone who existed was a challenge, but it was a welcomed one. A lot of research, books, talks with people that knew him. This film will be a love letter to Jean, the 80s and NY city. Jean has inspired me all through out my career, and it will be the biggest honor to tell his story in a way we haven't seen before. I know a lot of yall gon be like FINALLY hahaha I love it. This ones for all those dreamers out there 😌🙏🏾❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 Stay tuned."
Pooh Shiesty recently admitted to ingesting Fentanyl in jail, prosecutors say.
On Tuesday (Oct. 20), the government filed a response to Pooh's lawyer's claims that the rapper is being held in inhumane conditions while he awaits trial. The response insists Pooh, born Lontrell Williams Jr., is being held in 23-hour solitary confinement at Rolling Plains Regional Jail in Haskell, Texas, for his own safety.
"Two things are noteworthy here: first, three inmates attempted to break into Williams’ location –purportedly to get his autograph," the filing reads. "And second, Williams' admission that he recently ingested fentanyl."
"Williams is housed by himself for the two reasons stated above – first, his ability to negatively affect normal facility operations, and second, concerns for his safety if released to general population," the response continues.
Prosecutors note that Pooh is receiving the same benefits as other inmates as far as visitation. Pooh also has access to a tablet, where he makes video calls, exchanges e-mails and watches Netflix and sports, prosecutors claim.
Last week, Pooh's attorney, Kent Schaffer, pushed for the rapper to be released from solitary due to its toll on Pooh's mental health. He also claimed Pooh was only getting two hours of visitation, which the government insists is not the case.
XXL has reached out to Pooh Shiesty's attorney for comment.
Pooh is currently awaiting trial on federal kidnapping and robbery charges. Prosecutors say Pooh, Big30 and seven other men forced Gucci Mane to sign a contract release form at gunpoint at a Dallas recording studio in January. They also allegedly robbed Guwop and the people he came with. Pooh's trial is scheduled to begin on Feb. 22, 2027.

Funkmaster Flex and music executive Shadow Stokes get into an altercation at Madison Square Garden and Flex denies getting punched.
The incident happened during opening night for the reigning NBA Champion New York Knicks. Footage of the chaotic scene shared online shows Stokes rushing Flex while a bunch of people look on. Stokes is eventually restrained by multiple security guards. Flex has since responded to reports online that he was assaulted.
"HAHAHAHAHA! PLEASE! YOU WISH I GOT PUNCHED IN THE FACE!" he captioned a screenshot showing a TMZ editor reaching out for a comment. "I GUESS I GOT THESE LABEL GUYS KINDA ANGRY! THEY WANNA SUE WHEN THEY DONT GET THEY WAY!"
Flex later called the attack unprovoked and continued to taunt Stokes by insisting that Stokes has an open legal case against Flex.
A rep for Stokes' wife, multimedia personality and former VP of Artist & Label Relations and Music Director at Hot 97 TT Torrez, has since released a statement giving their side of the story. They claim a "verbal exchange between [Torrez's] husband and Funkmaster Flex escalated into a physical confrontation in which Funkmaster Flex shoved [Torrez] violently," which prompted Stokes to go after Flex.
"There is no justification for a man to put his hands on a woman, under any circumstances," the statement continues in part.
This is not the first time Flex has been accused of attacking a former colleague. In 2002, he was arrested and charged with third-degree assault after being accused by former Hot 97 host Steph Lova of assault. The following year, Flex pleaded guilty to harassment in the case.
