A huge disconnect in the rock/punk/metal/“alt”/etc space is ppl who heard Rage Against the Machine say “Fuck you, I wont do what you tell me” and thought it was about their mom taking away their xbox vs people who actually looked into what the song is about.

A pokémon MOBA should have been around for YEAAAARS DUDE THIS IS GENUINELY A GENERATIONAL FUMBLE. the gameplay was so fun even if the microtransaction bloating and awful dev decisions plagued the game i'm personally sad because i always thought the game had infinite potential >

i'm not kidding if you look at this for more than 5 seconds and still think it's real, you aren't smart enough to participate in discussion about homebrew

Hello I’ve built probably the first working Nintendo Switch 2 emulator in the world. There are many WIP and highly experimental things, but... it is finally working! GitHub: github.com/ovsky/compound @ThePhawx @theetaprime @OrdinaryGamers @digitalfoundry @nintendolife #NintendoSwitch2 #Switch2 #Emulation #Emulator
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
OP forked a emulator and faked screenshots to claim as his own. Screenshot has a SynthID marking. Furthermore - Original screenshots were posted before Switch 2 games could be dumped via exploit. Original emulator is not able to load any commercial games. x.com/kalayaanint/st… x.com/producdevity/s…

At the risk of losing people; Pokémon UNITE is a case study of what NOT to do. They took away Aeos Coins, and started to aggressively push a paid model only. They removed a rewarding grind system, and opted for a FOMO-based, tedious grind to keep players logging in.

How is the internet less private than in 2006, when the whole family shared one computer? Back then, the internet was weird, personal, and all of ours. So, we got your favorite meme legends back together to say it louder: What happened to the internet? 1/3

I'm also just so bummed out because I still believe Pokemon Unite could've been a game much bigger than it ever was, but it felt like monetization was prioritized over everything and this is the end result... In another world, Pokemon Unite is thriving

The fact that Brazil can elect a trans woman and their president can embrace her just highlights how backwards and reactionary the UK is.

o7 the game had so much potential, fumbled both by the studio and the god awful player base. I’ll never forget the fun I had during lockdown learning how to play and eventually briefly becoming a pro player. I will always be part of the first team to earn points with Crustle 🫡
