ICO statement: easyJet cyber attack.
We have a live investigation into the cyber attack involving easyJet. People have the right to expect orgs will handle their personal information securely & responsibly. When that doesn’t happen, we’ll investigate & take robust action where necessary. Those affected by data breaches needs to be particularly vigilant to phishing attacks & scam messages. We have advice on our site on how to spot phishing emails.
