Real-time CDC COVlD wastewater data are seeing some of the largest retroactive corrections I have observed, and upward! Sep 19: 3.21 --> 4.06 Sep 26: 2.33 --> 3.83 An 8-10% correction would be considered extreme, and these are well beyond that.

During a hospital intake, the doctor told my close family member who is 75+ with several pre-existing conditions that covid is nothing but a mild cold now and unavoidable. I’m so ANGRY that doctors get to comfort their patients with misinformation.

We recently requested bloodwork for my dad because of his symptoms (low appetite, fatigue, etc.) and learned that there is liver injury. His doctor ordered more bloodwork as well as a CT scan to figure out the cause. We are also still waiting for results from his surgical biopsy, and his insurance called yesterday to say they won’t cover the genetic testing that’s needed to help guide his cancer treatment. I’m hoping we can get that resolved somehow. For now, medical expenses continue to pile up and I could use some help spreading the word about his fundraiser. Thank you so much to everyone who has already contributed and shared. Every bit of support makes a difference and means the world to our family β€οΈπŸ™

I understand that it's hard to cope with the idea that a new common virus can disable anyone, including you. But that's your fear to deal with. Don't deal with it by telling the people it disabled that their illness is all in their heads.

My mom is staying overnight at the hospital because of Atrial Fibrillation (AFib). She is stable and they were able to get her heart rate back to normal. Please send prayers, love, and healing vibes πŸ™β€οΈ

Edit: Months after I posted this my Mom’s Pulmonologist and Cardiologist came to the conclusion that what she actually had was SVT (supraventricular tachycardia), not AFib. This was good news because Afib is generally more serious.

My mom is staying at the hospital another day after being diagnosed with AFib. Yesterday I called to ask for the staff to wear masks around her & to put this note outside her room. I’m thankful they did, but we shouldn’t have to ask, & I wish they all wore N95s. Keep advocating.
