Honored to have been featured on @theMiningPod by @blockspace talking all things Bitcoin mining & ASIC market dynamics!
Thank you for having me on @AsILayHodling & @wsfoxley 🤝
NEW MINING POD W/ @YeeHawBitcoin

Will ASIC Miners Ever See Another Bull Run?
Michael Rhoden from TicTacc joins us to talk about the current state of the ASIC market in 2025, tariffs, Proto’s ASIC launch, hydro cooling solutions, manufacturing, AI/HPC pivots, and more
I think NVIDIA's DSX POD has a very high probability of becoming a major deployment model for AI infrastructure. Similar to how @BITMAINtech started to produce containers tailored to their ASICs, @nvidia has somewhat followed suit. Curious what other AI Factory/container manufacturers honestly think about this.

The recent selloff in AI infrastructure and tech stocks reminds me of Bitcoin's many corrections, and I think short term volatility doesn't necessarily change the long term thesis. AI, compute, and digital infrastructure aren't going anywhere. It quite literally needs to grow more than tenfold just to supply currently projected demands, which I believe will multiply exponentially.
I see these dips and corrections as opportunities to dollar cost average. As they would often say in the digital asset space, DYOR and BTFD.
The less I need a car, the more I tend to love a city. Think SF, NYC, even the few walkable pockets of Miami, etc. Decades of car-centric urban planning have created a culture of isolation, where genuine community interaction is often replaced by superficial pleasantries. In the US, and most of the world for that matter, the more convenient a car becomes, the less interesting a city usually is.
Spent my birthday last weekend in Colombia 🇨🇴
Some of the world’s best coffee, artistically bohemian, and a twisted history, this place has so many things good, bad, ugly, and beautiful.
It’s incredibly instrumental to travel the world in order to gather perspectives and experiences which can help enlighten us. I feel incredibly grateful to have been so fortunate to see so much of this planet already, and strive to see much more.

This photo of $TSLA flying Roadster might genuinely be the photo of the year.

It is insane that home values go up over time.
The home should be most expensive when it is initially built. At that point, the structure is new and unused.
As the home experiences wear and tear, the home becomes used and should be worth less money over time.
A used home should cost less than a new home.
But that is not what happens.
Home prices continue to grow to the sky because the debasement of the dollar distorts the market, which enriches the home owners at the expense of the home buyer.
This is a silent wealth transfer that requires the home buyer to pay more for a less valuable product.
Just insane.

Just finished reading the new Goldman Sachs report on Coreweave. They are bullish. As I’ve been saying for a year, there will be no top in demand for at least 18-24 months from now (mid to late 2028). GS says demand a function of enterprise diffusion, not frontier model progress.

Four AI infrastructure stocks I’m not betting against:
$NBIS
• Q2 revenue: $582M, +454% YoY
• AI Cloud revenue: $575M, +514% YoY
• ARR: $3B
$IREN
• FY26 revenue: $707M, +41% YoY
• AI Cloud revenue: +110% QoQ in Q4
• Contracted ARR: ~$4B
$CIFR
• Barber Lake contracted revenue: $9B+
• Added ~$5.2B from another 10-year AI lab commitment
• Developing infrastructure to support up to 2.5GW of additional generation
$WULF
• Anthropic lease: ~$19B over 20 years
• Q2 revenue: $44.8M, with 71% from HPC leases
• 102MW revenue-generating + 336MW under construction
There doesn’t have to be only one winner in AI infrastructure. 👀
What is everyone's favorite way of converting USDT to USD?
Asking for a friend and just generally curious what people are utilizing the most right now.
Just got my @nvidia AI Infrastructure and Operations Fundamentals certificate!
Ask me anything about AI
One cannot watch this and not think of the Kardashev Scale and what the future withholds.
@elonmusk states "I would bet anyone that 1% in power usage correspondes into 1% growth in GPD, and so 10 GW would be a 2% increase in GPD".
Anyone from Bitcoin mining can tell you how this will all likely take way more time than what I think the everyday American, outside the scope of energy production, imagines. Those who have already built out AI / HPC infra know this tenfold. Let's hope the speed of production they're aiming for doesn't compromise safety and efficiency.

I think everyone will have multiple AI "muses" in the same way we all have smartphones. Smartphones make people money, and this will be the next step. Not sure why Muse can't be, or shouldn't be, integrated in my phone so that I just have 1 "thing", but let's see.
Holding some META stock since $400 and still bullish on its growth potential.

Changing the name from "artificial intelligence" to "superintelligence", and imagining the rest of the world to follow suit, is super trivial, super frivolous, and super ridiculous.
In the past 3 months, I've seen more Bitcoin mining site operators at AI events than Bitcoin events. At the Bitcoin events there are numerous service providers from pools to brokers and beyond, with relatively few actual site owners and operators. I've seen more at AI events just walking around and exploring other options.
I think the current AI infrastructure boom will mimic the experience of Bitcoin mining, where it starts with a race for MWs, then as expansion hits barriers it is the most efficient infra that wins. For enterprise and institutional use cases, the race for maintaining the most powerful and efficient GPUs is just as important as the race for MWs.

TicTacc was represented at the inaugural Midwest Bitcoin Summit by Michael Rhoden, who moderated the panel discussion “Mining That Stays Online: Cooling, Heat Reuse, Hardware & Uptime.”
The conversation focused on the infrastructure decisions that support operational resilience, efficiency, and long-term performance across Bitcoin mining deployments.
Thank you to the Midwest Bitcoin Summit team for bringing the industry together in Columbus.
