Racism of the soul eclipses all other bigotry, born from the heights of vainglory where one presumes their soul innately superior to others. This arrogance shatters human dignity, distorts the moral order, and enthrones the self on a false pedestal. It relentlessly seeks to crush lesser souls under the weight of its conceit.

Please pray for my dear friend, who is just 33 and facing a very sudden and serious heart issue. He’s an incredible Catholic man, loved and respected by everyone who knows him. He has a wife and two very young children. Please pray for his healing, for answers, and for peace for his family.
He is a wonderful person and if you knew him you'd agree.

I pray you actually stop your abhorrent behavior and properly confess to a legitimate priest.
You've no authority.

"Lmfao"... I've no doubt...sounds super Catholic. Have fun with your misery. The Church will be there for you when/if you wake up. 🙏

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

Haddie went through her four-hour open-heart surgery extremely well. We are with her now in the cardiac ICU. They have a cardiologist standing by while she recovers tonight, as well as a team of nurses who are literally watching her every second.
Everyone keeps saying she has done “perfect” so far. They’re going to remove her breathing tube tomorrow, and they’re keeping her sedated while it remains in place.
We crossed two huge hurdles already: they were able to restart her heart after surgery, and when they did, her rhythm was perfect. Apparently, it is possible for the heart to “wake up” with a bad rhythm, in which case a pacemaker could be required. We are thrilled that this risk now appears to have largely passed.
Over the next few days, we expect them to gradually remove her supports, restart feeds, and move her from the cardiac ICU toward going home.
We’ve been very impressed by the level of care she has received. Steph’s mom is watching the other seven children at home so that we can focus on Haddie.
Thank you all for your prayers. Keep them coming—we have another five days of recovery in the hospital.
