Burning through some of my mobile data to send this, because I miss you guys... I miss having social media a bit honestly. I haven't sorted out my broadband here yet, I need to sort out a decent package that will allow me to return to streaming asap, but deciding which one to go with isn't as simple as I thought it might be. I've figured out the gas, electric and water bills, as well as council tax. Gas and electric are through one provider, while water is another, and the property is currently not on a meter, which needs to be resolved so that I'm not paying out of the ass for bills every month - which would sadly include... not eating or paying off my other existing debts. Oct-Nov alone are estimated at aroundabout £250, and I have been seeking as much help as I can with this. Nov-Dec will be less harsh but still quite bad, because the timing of some paperwork is just a pain in the ass and doesn't line up particularly well with how things work for these beaurocratic bastards. I'm hoping that everything else gets resolved soon, honestly? I'm quite enjoying the peace and quiet! There's no weed smell here, and the only loud music is of my own choosing. Sadly most of my time here so far has been moving and sorting stuff so that it doesn't look like a bomb hit the place, but since Sunday, I've fallen specifically violently ill in a way that I'm not enjoying. I'm trying the usual methods, and I'm hoping the worst of it is over, mainly right now, we have the issue of all the coughing having fucked up my chest and back far worse than I'd like. First world problems or something relating to not getting ill all that often, because when I do, it hits me like truck-kun, and I ain't getting isekai'd any time soon. I look forward to returning at some point soon, hopefully before the end of November, and if anyone wants to help out with the financial side of things before I return and get into really heavy streaming to try and bridge the gap? My Ko-fi is always open, any help is much appreciated, it's not required, but I'm not afraid to request it any more, which might be a growing thing, but otherwise, it's been going pretty well. What I should have done is stream tonight, set a small funding goal to cover the last bits and pieces I'm missing, primarily - curtains lol :D But between packing and getting in some of my goodbyes to people for however long it takes to get the broadband sorted out (which I know sounds a bit weirdly overdramatic), I wouldn't have really had time... And I've still got to disassemble the PC for transportation, disconnect monitors and all that... It just always felt like I had more time if that makes sense? We've got all my cabinets, the PC and monitors to move tomorrow, and of course the sofabed (this place came unfurnished, so lucky I have that I guess)... I dunno, I guess it feels weird because this is obviously something I've wanted for a long time, but it's here now, and it's now, and I dunno, it just feels strange... been feeling a lot of strange stuff recently. I personally love that there are people in the comments saying "but how do we know Kaiba lost"... Well... Have you watched the series? Atem wins practically by definition because he is Atem. That's how Yugioh works. Sure his W/L ratio isn't perfect, even against Kaiba specifically, but this is fully restored Atem, at the height of whatever power he has. Kaiba is still just Kaiba. Not saying that means nothing, but... he's Kaiba, and honestly? Perhaps it's good we don't know in a way. It gives everyone an allowed answer because it's not absolutely clear from word of god who actually won. Like with Yugi and Jaden at the end of... season 4?

Welp, tomorrow is the final full day of having internet. I'll be moving some more stuff tomorrow after mum's husband finishes work, and then on Saturday, is the day we move everything that remains, plus my furniture... plus my computer. I'm doing everything I can to make sure I have enough stuff to do while I don't have internet. Thing is, there is a router in the house attached to a coax, which looks like a Virgin router, but there's also an OpenReach C5 Master Socket, like the one in the other room I looked at, so maybe I can just pick whatever package I want that uses either of their lines... which is pretty much any broadband line I want? But even once I've found a package, it's 8 to 10 working days average for an engineer to come out and do something about that. I know I know, first world problems, but I do have some big plans when I have internet back. It might be a minute, but still, it kinda sucks. And I'm gonna miss being a piece of shit on here during that time. ANYWAY... all my stuff is nearly moved which is making the living room I've been residing in for so long look really fuckin empty. Meanwhile, everything I own is in boxes and bags in that bedroom of the house taking up a lot of room. I'll be setting up the sofabed in the living room since once I have a bed, it'll revert to just being a sofa. I have also been told that the council can help replace the white goods in the kitchen though, and even funnier, is that the landlord of the first room I saw, apparently came crawling back to the people who helped me find this one, specifically asking to give me another shot at the room, to which they told him (although more diplomatically), to shove the room in a shared house, all the way up his rectal passage. But for me? I've got a ton to do tomorrow, and then even more on Saturday... and at the end of Saturday? I'll be waking up in the flat on Sunday, not here. That's gonna be fucking weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeird. Especially since no internet.

I disagree to an extent here. AI has the potential for those who have the potential to make anyone functionally limitless money, but helping them make the most of their existing capabilities. AI is just a force multiplier. If you have something you can work with, then it can help you push that to an nth degree. If you don't, then it's just an advanced input/output calculator.

Yep, this is half of my PC problems. I use Stardocks' Start8 (even though it isn't really built for Windows 11), to make 11 look and act like Windows 7, including control panel, so some of the things I see when looking for how to fix something, aren't as immediately apparent.

Since there's a good chance I won't have internet for up to 2 weeks when I've moved, I'm thinking it might be about time I give Breaking Bad a shot. I've seen a lot of the clips and it looks like something I might enjoy. The only reason I didn't when it came out is because... actually the hype, if something is overhyped, it tends to never live up to those expectations, but also because Game of Thrones was out at roughly the same time iirc, and I was watching that instead. So... I'll give it a go, and then when I get internet back, I'll be able to give you my thoughts on a 5 series show from... jesus christ... 18 years ago... I feel old guys, and not just from my legs, back and shoulders hurting from all the boxes and bags I've been carrying recently.
