I heard the crash from my pad and could tell it wasn’t good
BREAKING: One person was killed and two others were hospitalized following today's four-vehicle crash on Soledad Canyon Road in Santa Clarita, authorities said.
The collision was reported to 911 operators at 12:15 p.m. and occurred at the intersection of Soledad Canyon Road and Cedar Street, east of Rainbow Glen Drive.
Detective Charlie Upchurch of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Traffic Office said firefighters were treating injured people when deputies arrived. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, and another was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
A third person was hospitalized and was awake and breathing, Upchurch said. That patient’s condition was not definitively confirmed during the interview.
“At this point, we don’t know what caused the crash,” Upchurch said early in the investigation.
Investigators have not determined whether alcohol or drugs played a role.
Soledad Canyon Road, a major artery in Santa Clarita, will remain closed in both directions during the investigation. Upchurch said investigators expected to spend several hours documenting the scene, making notifications and awaiting the coroner’s arrival.
The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station is investigating. Anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant dashcam footage is asked to contact the station and request Detective Charlie Upchurch or Detective Mark Cramer.

The Druski skit situation is funny to me. The skit is hilarious. People being offended need to grow up. BUT everyone defending the skit also needs to keep this same energy about aaalllllllll comedy. Don’t go crying next time a bit upsets you personally. If jokes shake you to your soul SO deeply, consider that you may be an emotionally underdeveloped human, not fit for this life. The world needs comedy ❤️
