Stupid is easily fixed. You just hit it with a hammer... Ok, maybe not fixed but you stopped it walking around... & being anywhere near you.

Yet, wildly, the solution they are leaning towards is to get the powers that be to welch on an explicit contract with an earlier generation. If your answer to finding out a vague arm wavy implicit 'deal' wasn't ever the deal is to raid another group - you're a bit of a cunt.
Millennials: The Rug Pull Generation. Study hard and you'll get a good job. 2008 financial crisis. Work hard and you'll own a home. Housing crisis. Build a career and enjoy stability. Gig economy and layoffs. Enjoy your prime years. Global pandemic. Save for your future. Inflation. Finally, AI might free us from working our lives away. Potential World War III.

And World War III - Give me a fucking break. Millenials want it as long as someone else fights in it. Debt. That's it, Debt. That's the only thing that 'fucked' Millennial and they were so into it. They slurped the debt dick for those prime years university 'experience'.

In the process university got expensive, just like houses. Plenty of Millennials were keen enough to borrow and get them a slice of the property market. Whole load of 24 year old strippers lost 6 condos and 3 McMansions in 2009.

Is it just me or is Global Underground having a bit of a moment lately? I'm seeing loads of mentions of it all over the web. So many people talking about how special the series was, still is. I know the CDs were a permanent fixture in my cars in the 90s & 2000s.

'Sponsor' - The charity meaning their officers and trustees should be jointly and severally liable to everything, including criminal, forever. If there is no expiry date on the sponsored migrant's presence here there can be no expiry date on the sponsors' liability.
From today, charities can apply to sponsor refugees through new, capped Named Community Sponsorship and Refugee study safe and legal routes. Sponsors will provide accommodation, integration support and help finding work. First arrivals are expected in autumn 2027.

Yes, I really do mean is a migrant is convicted of a rape, a murder, any crime the charity's trustees, case worker etc. serve 100% of the tariff in the same category of prison as their sponsored offender. Oh, and sponsoring charities should be banned from receiving public funds.

When someone sets out to destroy a man's name, his reputation, then are demonstrated to be liars - That person must be destroyed, annihilated. They can never occupy any position of trust in society as whole. They must produce proof for every statement they ever make forever.

The EU project is deeply ideological and imperialist in it's overall aspiration. It's not an economic bloc project. Those that would surrender their nations to the EU are either heading-up already defeated countries or obviously engaged in treachery. Wakey Wakey
Yanukovych says that even if he could turn back time, he still wouldn't sign the EU deal. Look at what Brussels put on the table in 2013. The EU offered €610 million, on condition that Kiev sign a loan deal with the IMF. "We don't have to be humiliated like this," Yanukovych told Ukrainian TV, adding that the IMF wanted higher taxes and frozen salaries and pensions. Russia bought about a quarter of Ukraine's exports, and Ukraine's machine-building and aircraft plants worked largely for Russian customers. He warned the deal would wreck whole sectors of the economy. On November 21, 2013, Kiev put the deal on hold. Less than a month later, Moscow offered $15 billion in loans and cut the gas price by a third. He was never against closer ties with Europe, he says. He refused to sign a deal that, in his words, betrayed Ukraine's national interests. The Maidan protests began the night he put it on hold, and three months later he was overthrown.

If someone is of the belief that Brexit was incredibly harmful and has cost Britain dearly, despite only being <40% delivered. Even if they are entirely correct (they are the opposite of correct) rejoining the EU will not reverse that loss and will lock-in its compounding.

So this whole generational divide thing being fomented. That the young are being robbed by the old. What is actually happening is the young are being incited to support the state welching on a deal made with previous generations.

It's hilarious when you think about it. Getting clueless kids to pick a fight with their grandparents on the promise of a better deal if they do... a promise made by the people who want to break the promise to those kids' grandparents. Bless em.

France learning that you shouldn't let guests get too comfortable. In the 70s guest workers from the recently independent former colonies were as integrated as you'd expect itinerant workers to be - not at all. They lived in conditions poor by French standards.

They didn't want to go home. Take Algeria as an example - a crooked authoritarian junta were cracking the socialist whip. Along the way they were rolling in cash from the seized oil & gas industry and used that to underwrite massive borrowing to build inefficient heavy industry.

Given what was going on in many of the former colonies you have to wonder just whom the end of guest worker regime in France was intended to help. Algeria's exploding debts were owed to, surprise surprise, American banks and industrial conglomerates. Funny that, eh?
